There's plenty of other hits in web searches but it seems nobody has stock of this model. Other colourways may be available if they're more to your taste.

Nice but it ain’t no panda

    • LOL - I figured you'd say that. Have you got it on today?

      • +1

Nah Apple Watch 7 45mm in red with a quick release Velcro strap as doing yard work before forecasted cyclone hits…

        • +2

Making room for all those free trampolines. Good to see you have taken up my advise advice.

          • +1

@MS Paint: Low key starting to worry about flooding in the roof again tbh

I’m sure the last assholes that racq sent to do the insurance job in the roof did a dodgy brothers on it

            • +1

@Jimothy Wongingtons: we used to get roof flooding too until we got a few additional large down pipes installed. Haven't had issues since.

              • @paaj: We had a drone guy, a roof plumber guy, a builder, a painter come by and they were all useless lol all playing blame game and give no solutions.

All along the lines of ‘aw yeah nah looks fine to me idk where the water could be getting in from’ they said they would some actions to try to avoid future issue but said unless there was another insane rainfall it was impossible to gauge if it was the solution.

Like mate it has to be coming from somewhere ffs

In the end we got a laughable payout (mainly to fix the water spots that had developed) but the quotes to fix it came back in at double to triple the payout.

Completely off topic but speaking of Pandas.

      • What absolute animals. No pun intended.

    • +2

Agree the Panda is the best looking one!

      • It's also the most common! I keep seeing them around. Sometimes nice to have something more unique/rare!

        • Sometimes the original is the best. They are popular for a reason and better resale. The panda is a classic look, the white and black contrast so well together.

( I got enough other rare or different pieces - JDM mini turtle in green/teal).

If they didn't want so much for the Pogue colour I'd get that too (and if it was a 39mm).

          • @G-rig: To be fair though the Panda costs more, so the resale is more, while the other models are cheaper, and have less resale but it all works out financially if you only look at watches to buy/sell.

            Wasn't the original Pogue?

            • @onlinepred: dunno - agree, just get which one you like.

I got it for nothing anyway but the panda is a well known look, not a copy of the 'pogue' (and panda isn't a trademark of rolly either)

      • +2

Pogue for me since it's uniquely Seiko.

    • I've always thought of the CA4500-32A as a good tight ass alternative to this

      • +1

        Heaps nice

        • +1

Speedtimer better and the proportions look more correct.

          • @G-rig: I wasn't suggesting it was an equivalent, just an alternative

            • @Aldonis: yep similar enough style. You'd want to get that one for about $250 though.

I think the 'orient neo solar panda' looks better than the Citizen though:

              • @G-rig: $219 from SB, for that price I'm stoked with it

      • Like most of citizen's watches, its HUGE!!!!

      • A bit less tight ass but the new CA4674-58A (and other colourways) would be the closest alternative to the speedtimers. They are still new so not much discounting has happened yet (although SB already has it for $680) butt they will inevitably drift downwards in price.

        • 43mm though!! Seriously most of Citizen's watches are huge!

  • this is a great deal but just bare in mind that the smaller 39mm models might look a bit small for some compared to the 41.4mm ones and the lums on the 41.4mm ones are much bigger and brighter.

    • +1

I think watch fashion is heading back to smaller watches anyway, larger watches were a weird fashion trend IMO.

      • Yeah they're heading smaller, but 41.4mm isn't comical for plenty of wrists. I'd stay away from 43mm etc though.

  • -2

A bit small for a Real Man.

    • +2

A real man could wear any watch….

    • Would you have told Muhammad Ali his Cartier Tank was too small for a real man? ;-)

    • That's what she said.
