It's been much cheaper before, but still a pretty good price for a Koala mattress delivered (Queen is currently $1190 on their official website). Unfortunately the King is not part of this sale.

they were popular because they delivered and had a very long 'free' returns policy, and were cheapish. they dont have tech like anti-sag on the edges. pretty happy with mine though. not too soft or hard. helped a lot to ease my back problems

I find it interesting, that as big as Koala is, they have been caught out many times sockpuppeting on OzBargain. In fact the store is currently banned from rep posts

My koala mattress that is 3 years old is sagging on one side. They did to their credit send me a mattress topper for free but made little difference.
Ahhh maybe that's why they changed to toppers. I had a sagging problem with one of their og mattress with no toppers, so they sent me a new mattress
Mines a year old and I really like it. Nothing bad so far.
I bought one in 2016, and after a few years it developed pretty noticeable sags on both sides. It's enough that you need to sleep in the same spot or you kinda roll into the sag and feel uncomfortable.
In 2022 it bothered me enough that I finally contacted customer service and after sending through a few pictures, they sent me a brand new mattress and picked up the old. So great customer service, can't fault that.
However, after using that new mattress not even a year later, I can feel the sags developing again. If I don't sleep right in the sag, it feels slightly uncomfortable. For context, I am 7xkg.
I'm just waiting for it to get bad enough to flip the topper and hope it's not worn on that end already.
Though of buying queen from costco.
But when I checked with Koala customer support team. they said they wont cover the warranty of products sold through costco.
