But you save another $19. Good for an upcoming gift.
Or you can buy the used one. I found them to be cheaper and still offered the same thing.
Be careful of the used one, this particular one has cosmetic imperfections, and the packaging is damaged, so wouldn't be good as a gift. But for personal use, the headphone is on your head so you cant see it, so $139 could be worth the gamble.
Other times, the 'see details' on used item shows its just packaging damaged, which could just be a corner crushed due to it being dropped.
@ATangk: Oh yeah nah no gift for me so I wouldn't care too much about cosmetic damages and stuffs like that.
Also could HODL a bit as this headset is quite old now (3 years) and has been at $120 before.
Can someone recommend best current deal for gaming headset for ~$50? Thank you.
Koss KSC75 with an inline mic added, or the flavour of the month $30 IEM with a mic added.
Gaming brands are almost exclusively garbage, and almost always overpriced.
I'm shopping for my 19yo nephew for his birthday. He wants comfortable headset with mic for gaming; doesn't have to be "gaming brand".
Given he's not going to thrash it around as much as a kid would, it might be worth pooling your spend with a few others and getting the Sony Playstation Pulse Elite at around $200-$230.
Wireless, good battery life, solid mic, high end audio quality. Works on PC with the supplied dongle and comes with a wireless charging stand, but requires a PS5 for updates and on-board EQ.
Outside of that I'd be looking at wired headphones and earphones and figuring out a mic system for them.
Hasnt the G733 been $119 at JB previously?
Yeh a few years ago but never again.
$149 at Centrecom
https://www.centrecom.com.au/logitech-g733-lightspeed-wirele…get OW to price beat, they also stock these head units
I have a g733 and can't recommend it despite the fact I love Logitech. I hadn't had mine for long until the power switch went dicky meaning most of the time when I power on I only get one ear working.
Also seems to have intermittent weird issues regarding Mic detection with Windows.
For such an expensive headset from a great brand I expected better.
out of warranty?
Yep unfortunately. Happened not long after I got them and apparently pretty common.
FYI Lilac is not currently in stock and dispatch time might be 1-2 months.
