Also same price at Officeworks on Kodak paper, and at Kmart

    • You get better value-for-money at Officeworks too, as their machines seem to be properly adjusted.

I often print computer-generated images, like colour text on a white background (one photo becomes 3 business cards). Whenever I have printed these on a FujiFilm machine, the white becomes a light-grey colour, it's particularly evident when printing the photos with a white border. The border IS white, but the white on the image is grey!

My local Officeworks prints on Kodak paper, using Kodak photo kiosks. White is truely white whenever I have printed at Officeworks, so I only use them for printing now.

However, take note: the Kodak photo kiosks at my local Officeworks DON'T have a slot for micro SD cards, and they won't recognise PNG files as being photos - they only seem to accept JPEG files. At least the Fujifilm photo kiosks didn't have either of these limitations.

      YMMV

  • No deal, just printed 350 photos from kmart for 9c each. 9c is everyday price.

If you live near Harvery Norman and don't want to drive twice to OW etc then I am sure people would like to know.

I have to agree, advertising this is like posting a deal that tells us Coles sells fresh milk for $3/3L.

  • I did a comparison between HN and BigW printing of the same shots, and found the HN prints left a lot to be desired. The HN prints were very flat-looking. (And yes, I know paper is only two-dimensional. lol)

  • Location, location, location?

My nearest HN is 5 mins walk away… closest KMart, OW etc are at least 20 minutes drive one way! And HN usually have these for 15c.. I dunno.. thought it might be useful!

    • If you have 10 working day to wait. I'd rather drive 20 min to K-mart and pick up 24 hr later.

      • I'm fine with submitting online then walking over to pick up in 10 days.. I mean I haven't printed photos out in like 5 years.. so I can wait 10 days..

  • if we print at store, can we get the printout immediately or need to wait xxx business days?
this is for HN OW Kmrt etc

    • K-Mart is 24Hr, but it actually means next day pick up.
I dropped 360 photoes in last night at 8:30pm and the counter girl ask me to pick them up today after 12.

HN: Please allow approximately 10 working days for your order to arrive in the mail or to be ready to be picked up in store. Check your order status online

Thank you very much Harvey, you've drove me away again.

Am I sensing some deeply entrenched hostility toward HN? AHAHAHAHAHA…

  • Been waiting for the 9c prints from HN for a while. Thanks for the post. I take it that this applies to all HN stores?

  • Went into the HN in Adelaide city today. Their machines have a little sign saying to ask about the printing time because of this promo. The last time I went in (not during a promo period) it took a good 2-3 hours .. had a 1-hour wait today for my 9c prints.
