The lock on the lid breaks very easily. Every 6-8 months we go to ikea to buy the lid.
how are the lids breaking? I haven't had issues myself but I usually handwash them
The ikea glass stuff is good but their plastic lids are crap. The wooden lids are good. Pyrex stuff is good too.
Have had mine for 2-3 years. Got 5 for like $25 and I reckon it's way better value than anything on Amazon. Use it in the dishwasher, microwave meal prep etc. with no problems. It does take up space unlike the collapsible silicon ones but I'm fine with that.
Do you stack them inside each other? I've heard they get stuck inside each other and crack so you have to store them with the lids on
I stack them inside each other and stack all the lids together separate from the containers in my kitchen cupboard. Never had that issue. I'm conscious to always take the bottom one every time I need one so I don't use the same 2 or 3 on top every time.
Get the glass version, these are rubbish.
