This is a really good Triple Cream Brie. It is short dated as a best before the 22nd of May. Worth the purchase for Mum or a party before then. Usual (need to be a member).

I've frozen the D'affinois Bleu (basically the same cheese, but with blue), and it thawed out perfectly. My friend also tried freezing some, but found the texture had gotten harder, but the taste was the same (he still enjoyed it).
Also note, with a cheese like this, the best before date is about when it's starting to approach peak ripeness. i.e. I wouldn't eat it before the best before date.
so its more like a best after?
In my opinion, yes. Fortunately, this is also the date that shops are selling it for a bargain.
Freezing would probably work well for cheese toasties or ham and cheese pancakes.
I love this cheese - but did anyone notice the label? 71% fat
Yup. We bought our 2% fat milk and the triple cream Brie.
what happened to the other 29% fat ?
Based off the label it turned to dry fatter
Must have triggered someone to get the neg…
Wasn’t me :)
D'affinois is the absolute shit. Get on it people.
This was on sale for the same price yesterday at Moorabbin as well.
Thanks for info.
absolutely love this cheese.
…has anyone tried freezing cheese before? does it taste as good thawed out?
