Kysona/Attack Shark has really bad quality control and I had sensor skipping issues on one of their products before
I've seen users report QC issues across all the brands, I think mostly early batches so I hesitate to do early batches.
Kysona and Attack Shark are just notorious for it. Especially Attack Shark.
Like you I thought "Oh just one bad unit that these people bought. I'll try them out." I bought three Attack Shark X3's for me and my family, two of them were DOA, the last one had skipping issues with the sensor in wireless mode, but not in wired mode. I then used the Kysona software to fix the third unit, but the other two were complete duds. I'd RMA but Attack Shark's "support" or lack of are so bad I didn't want the headache, I just swallowed the loss. Then I bought the Attack Shark R1 because I thought maybe they just stuffed up the X3 firmware. Nope, same skipping problem in wireless mode, except you can't use the Kysona firmware to fix it, it bricks it, luckily I didn't use the firmware update and brick my R1. So I just use the R1 in wired mode. Decent option I suppose, but I really wanted a wireless Deathadder or EC clone.
IMO just avoid Attack Shark, shit brand with bad QC. Kysona I heard does have the same issues with the wireless connectivity, but apparently they released a software/firmware update and it fixed the issues for most people. My A5 never had an issue, but I'm sure the factory that does Attack Shark and Kysona don't do very good QC. Kysona and Attack Shark both use the same factory and I assume also the same firmware as a result, the only difference is Kysona AFAIK can be fixed because they probably paid to get updated firmware or for the factory to fix it. Attack Shark X3 can't work with their supposed own software and firmware (even though it just whatever the factory gives them with their logo instead), but may be fixed with Kysona software and firmware… But Attack Shark firmware and software is trash, just avoid them.
Honestly, if anyone wants a good ambidextrous budget mouse. Go out and buy a VXE R1 Pro/Pro Max (Not to be confused with the Attack Shark R1). The VXE R1 Pro is basically a EndGameGear OP1 but wireless or equivalent to the Pulsar X2V2 but cheaper. Pro Max has more weight and is also not as weight balanced, but it has really great battery life. I daily drive it and its excellent, certainly punches above its weight. Maybe the best money I've spent on a mouse, like ever.
I've tried a lot of Chinese Mice out so I have some opinions about them. They pretty much all have value and to be honest every option is passable except for Attack Shark and Kysona imo. Even if they don't have issues, the Kysona and Attack Shark 1000 Hz wireless implementation just sucks anyways compared to a Logitech 1000 Hz mouse, the feel is just not the same despite you being able to measure 1000 Hz, I dunno if it's how the information is received, intepreted or delivered, but it's just not comparable to a 1000 Hz premium mouse. I mean I didn't expect 1:1 of an experience, you get what you pay for, but VXE or even Ajazz 1000 Hz is definitely better and feels better during use too.
Chinese Mice Tier List from me:
VXE/VGN/ATK (Value for money, good software, great battery life and firmware, amazing coating etc, basically 95% equivalent to Logitech at 1/4 to 1/2 the price).
Ninjutso/SPrime/Sora (Also very good but priceier than VXE generally, but ATK has very similarly priced options as the Sora V2 now anyway).
Zaopin or Lamzu (Around the same tier as each other, quality wise I would put them about the same, except Lamzu is more premium in price and better with more options)
3.5 Fantech (Makes great mice, but definitely a Tier below Lamzu or VXE, but not enough to put them below Delux, they make like 9/10 or 9.5/10 mice, not 10/10 mice like VXE or Lamzu does.)
Delux (Great but not amazing, very good options on the market, lots of variants, but they just don't hit everything perfectly like VXE does, definitely a tier below. But If I had say $10-20 less to spend, they're a very good option).
Ajazz (Once again very good, they used to be just okay, but they stepped up their game a little and are a very good budget option, if I needed a cheap mouse for a bargain price not for a cheap price, but a bargain price, I would get an Ajazz one).
Darmoshark (I bought an M3S and I've got to say it's okay, but lack of coating, crappy battery life and terrible side buttons ruined it for me, definitely a tier below Ajazz. Maybe they will create a new mouse that's good one day but from my experience with the M3S, it's average at best, I also wanted an N3 successor, but apparently no one bought it, maybe thats not because of the shape but because of the crap buttons and clicks which ruined the mouse).
MChose or DAREU (Good options I suppose for the price, but was never blown away, some options also make no sense like the MChose Magnesium A5 being like $150 USD yet being basically equivalent to the plastic version which is way cheaper… Just dumb stuff like this that holds them down. But they make the odd good mouse like the A5 Ultra which keeps them above the trash. As for DAREU, again good options, but never an amazing option and they basically made like one mouse A950 and then ghosted the scene, expensive too, would rather buy VXE for the same price).
Kysona (Either bad or average options, decent for the price, you get what you pay for, expect to tinker with software and firmware to get things right. They have potential, they just need to get the basics right out of the box and I think they're the definitive bargain bin option).
Phylina (Basically a Lamzu knock off, made the S450, was just okay no where near the Lamzu quality. Just can't swallow their pricing tbh.)
Attack Shark (garbage, just avoid them. For every good unit they ship, they likely ship one bad one. Terrible QC. Terrible firmware. Average battery. Good price if the damn thing worked out of the box. I had so many issues with their stuff I stopped buying Attack Shark and just shelled out for VXE which started my chinese mouse habit because I experienced a very bad mouse and an excellent one, so I got hooked on buying them to try out. So I guess you can blame Attack Shark for reading my dumb opinions because without them I wouldn't have gone out and researched and bought tonnes of Chinese mice.)

VXE is my first Chinese OEM and it really did blow my expectations, I really can't fault them at all with the R1 Pro Max.
I'm currently considering the ATK X1 because it's bigger than the VXE R1 but I would rather avoid the first batch from Chinese OEMs.I'm also considering the Ajazz AJ139Pro for the size but the coating on VGN/VXE/ATK instant became my favourite, it's similar to the smoothness of the Razer deathadder v3 pro.
My personal endgame mouse would be Logitech or VGN/VXE/ATK or Razer making a superlight G502 or even G703 because I have 21x11 hands and prefer palm grip.
@reactor-au: Try the Sprime mouse for the G703 clone but smaller. It's quite good, but not a good chape for me personally.
@CHUNITHM Luminous: I agree, but sometimes people have to try the shape. Otherwise, I recommend a Deathadder V3 Pro or Xlite V3 Large.
@KARMAAA: I had the deathadder v3 pro, perfect size but the shape tapers outward at the front which really got annoying where I rest my fingers there, and the hump is really high will a very steep slope to right which felt like it was forcing my hand into an unnatural angle.
