  • A pity about the deliberately deceptive "Active Noise Cancelling" claim. Screw them.
FYI: NC is only for outgoing voice on calls, same as any phone does.

    • Just for clarification are you talking about the T13 or the T13ANC?

      • -2

The ones I bought for a start.

Proper noise cancellation can be heard when no music is playing. It just gets quieter. has anyone found cheap earbuds that can actually do that?
TBH , even the Sony earbuds i tried did a very slight amount of wind-nose reduction, and had no effect on traffic noise.

        • So are you talking about the T13 or the T13ANC?

Love the T13's, great sound at such a low price that you don't worry about them. Had mine for a couple of years and they are still going great. I have changed the mesh filters with cheapies from AliExpress a couple of times when the sound quality drops off due to gunk build up.

Bought some discounted JBL buds from the recent School Locker sale; $300 RRP but in my opinion they were awful in comparison, very anemic.

    • I have lost 4 sets. It does not hurt.

  • +1

Great light weight earbuds for this price range.

  • Hey OP/others - it looks like they come with S/M/L eartips; would you say they'd fit a 10 year old boy (thinking of buying for son's birthday)?

    • +1

I think it could work for a 10 year old.

Bought these about a year ago for this price, and they're still going strong, you can download the QCY app to adjust the EQ, and/or customise the controls, and then delete the app afterwards as all settings save on the buds themselves, good if you like flat EQ or minimal controls. They also sound pretty good imo, and the Bluetooth signal is more stable and has longer range than my SoundPEATS TrueAir2.

      How about call voice quality?

      • Sorry, I haven't actually used them on voice calls.

  • My experience with the QCY HT07 earbuds is the ANC is working now even though nothing is playing. However, they turn off in a couple of minutes if nothing is playing. Haven’t solved that issue yet. At maximum setting the ANC is reducing the background hubub of the city by more than half. Sound is better than the other cheap headsets I use. They are around $20 USD on Aliexpress.

    • Thanks. My faith in qcy restored somewhat. But you know, once bitten …

  • The ANC version is cheaper on AliExpress

  • Can anyone vouch for the phonecell quality?
