FYI Don’t buy the Aldi Goliath Baking Paper. Firstly, my wife mentioned after she saw it in the draw said that in future don’t buy this from Aldi that it’s crap. Secondly, my daughter was baking cookies and also mentioned that it was crap in front of both of us, unknowingly that my wife and I had already had the same discussion. Thirdly, I was cooking Salmon last night and totally agree. Back to Aldi for a “not satisfied” refund (per their guarantee).

    • Stick it to the man!

    • what's wrong with Aldi baking paper? is it cheaper than this deal

I've found it's not waxed enough, just generally a terrible product. The difference is noticeable especially if you do a lot of baking.

Some comments here, here, here, here in the last deal.

      • Buggered if I know but it’s crap.

    • Strongly agree. We ended up throwing away almost a brand new roll from Aldi as it was ruining meals by falling apart and sticking.

    • Their cling wrap is the absolute worst aswell, constsntly getting stuck or ripping ended up just turfing it in the bin

      • I got their jumbo roll and works fine. It came with this stick on slide cut thing which works perfectly, or maybe that slide thing fell off another product and I just stuck it on there. I was using the blade and yes you do need a knack to tear it cleanly.

    • I dunno, an anecdote from your with and daughter. And shouldn't you expect roasted or grilled salmon to always stick to any baking paper?

  • Thanks OP.

  • Does anyone know if this contains PFAS chemicals?

I sent an email to their customer support sometime ago and no response.

Hiya, I’ve been suspicious for quite some time that ‘baking paper’ may be coated in PFA

Update; Received a reply from Multix – their baking paper is silicon-coated – phew, relief!

      • Nice one. Been using this stuff for years with trepidation.

  • Is it cheaper than Costco?

  • Deal link went to these cornflakes, I kid you not.
