I think you need to hand in your OZBargain membership right away

    • +4

wws is $15, this is FREE (cost $15, cashback $15)

  • +4

Don't rely on shopback's cashback deal expiry date.
It changes frequently and often ends early than first said.

    • yep I concur

  • +5

I fear as soon as I get these, there will be a boost SIM profit deal

    • +1

You don't lose anything…. You still get these for free.

      • +3

The more you buy the more you are closer to being blocked ;)

    • Lol..happened with me last time and I know what you mean :D

  • +1

    Error occurred

  • +1

    will esim purchase be tracked?

    • worst case is get the physical sim, then convert to esim via boost app

    • Looks like ShopBack has removed the eSIM clause in their T&C

    • +2

How would you buy an esim? It tells me to download the app if I try through shopback or their website. I'd be happy to be the guinea pig to see if it tracks if I can just figure out how to buy one

  • Been a while, ill wait a couple days to see if a profit comes around.

    • there is a tiny profit if you dare take the risk to ask topcashback to match the deal…

  • Saw the $15 cashback on Shopback a few hours back and was wondering if the cash back would work for this deal since it was also $35 Starter Pack with code for a $3 profit?

    • +1

No, the code no longer works.

  • +2

Any idea on how to resolve "Sorry we are unable to process your order?"

    • -1

wait for all your boost sim expire or around 6 month whichever happens last

      • -1

you can just get on chat and ask them to cancel the inactive numbers instead of waiting 6 months

    • Change to a business addreess, different email and random dob

  • How to profit from a cashback offer without profit. Buy the original sim using a discounted prepaid debit card. Your cashback will exceed the original buy price.

    • +5

Won't that just be because of discounted prepaid credit card? Anything would be discounted by that logic

      • +2

        I call it OzBargainMath

  • +1

After 30 days, does the SIM remain active for incoming SMSes? If yes, then for how long?

    • +2

      Several months

    • +1

I have some still working from Oct 2023

    • +7

Boost sim expiry is 6 months from when recharge expires

      E.g. April 1 activation+initial recharge for 28-days Recharge expiry April 29 + 6mo = 29 October

      • Perfect, thanks

      • I was planning on porting out according to that but haven't and its still going after 6 months

  • +3

    HOLD for profit!

    • +1

      Need one now

    • +1

I think you have to hold many a few months for that. It hasn't been any profit in last 8 weeks I think.

  • Can you buy an eSIM and be eligible for cahsback?

    • No afaik from last deals

    • I think issue will be that boost will ask you to purchase via the app, hence no cashback from shopback

  • Does the cashback require sim activation? Or simply the purchase enough?
Planning to activate after a month's time

    • +1

      Must activate within 30 days

      • Thanks, just read the special terms

        • Sorry, where it said that?
I am planning to activate more than 30 days later :( before the deadline 5 Aug 2024.

          • Oh oh I saw that now, from the shopback apps .
    • arent there reports where you still get cashback if theyre not activated.

  • +1

I think these deals are great but ended up getting a year expiry boost Sim as I got tired of calling Lebara to activate a Sim to port my number out and then back in. Sometimes due to life stuff being busy I'd forget and then the Sim would expire for the month and I suddenly couldn't make calls or sends SMS. I understand this is a great bargain for many but be prepared to put up a bit of time each month port in and out and have notifications set up.

    • +11

Have a dual sim phone. Your primary sim cheapest plan you can get. This boost sim use it for data. Just keep getting a new number.

      that's how I do it.

      • Yep unlimited calls and SMS for $60 p/a and $1,000s profit on data sims

    • I've had zero issues porting from boost to lebara and back again, been doing it for yonks

      • lucky you.

  • +2

Just placed an order, not expecting it to track anytime soon. Miss those boost deals from Cashrewards.

    • Wow already tracked. Unbelievable from SB

    • +2

They seem to track within the hour, just not instant like CR was.

      Mine took 33 minutes.

    • +6

Optus $55 SP Price $25, CR cashback $40, $15 profit.

      • +1

unable to use Coles prepaid mastercard :(

      • +1

        Thanks, got one!
        Will report back once tracked

        • Tracked yet?

      • Just bought one, thank you.
So many people buying so always display exceed queue something like that.
Finally I got one. Hope nothing goes wrong to get $40 cashback.

  • got 2, both were tracked instantly…

  • Finally lol

  • +1

Hasn't tracked yet Dont disappoint me shopback

    Edit
    And tracked after 1 hour

  • Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later.

  • Read the T&C about "new customers" only. What constitutes a "new customer"? What if I bought a boost SIM earlier this year that has expired and died for 3 months now.

And if I bought 3 SIMS, under my name, are each of them going to track?

    • +2

Yes, many members have purchased 10 sims consecutively using the same name/phone/address and all considered new customers as they are a new service

      • Wow!

  • annual plan offers?

  • Has anyone's TCB $35 been approved from boost yet?

    • +1

      Not yet

  • A bit gun shy on this. Still waiting for my first SB Boost to be paid.
Two over two months tracked OK, but need to see payment before buying again. CR was golden, but now quiet.

  • It says for New customers only: "45GB on first 3 recharges for new customers" – so how does one qualify for this when they already have an account with Boost?

  • No " something went wrong" this time. Issue resolved since I used the email that I used first time to buy boost sims.

  • Just started my burner sim journey - I already have 2 expired numbers in my boost account. Do I just chat to agent to activate manually if can't be activated using the normal method? Or should I port these numbers to other operators to "make room"?

    • +1

I have 7 currently in my account and one active. They wiill Auto delete after around 180 days of inactivity. I usually call them or via chat and ask to delete on occasion as I dont want too many there. In short, there shouldn't be any issues just adding them to existing account.

      • Why you don't want too many there?

        • I don't want lots of SIMs under my name and have no further use for them so every approx 6 months I get them delete all but the previous two.
I keep those as can still be used to receive SMS's on if ever needed for misc things rather than giving our my primary mobile number.
I only order one a month so never have that many regardless.

  • Welcome back, Boosty. I was starting to get worried

  • sweet as, ill try boost after being with more for 4 months (3 of them being free, thanks cba)

  • Anyone with any better suggestions for errors when trying to pay? Tried multiple credit/debit cards, different email address at this point.

  • I kept getting errors too, i dont buy much any more these days when successful. can't be bothered calling up to activate or telling my mate to activate for me

  • When I use ANZ credit card to pay, there was error, but ok if use CBA debit card.

cashback was due on 2 May for this deal from 6 Feb ($18 Cashback on $12 Sim), but it is still showing as pending. Anyone got them confirmed yet?

    • +1

      Same here

    • +1

      Still pending here

    • Still waiting as well

    • Still pending

    • Still pending here too

    • Reported it through the SB app

    • Still pending for me too. Reported it but haven't heard back yet.

    • @gotyourback

    • Still pending, just reported.

Also looks like the previous @gotyourback who was really good has been laid off. The new one doesn't read your questions and replies with incorrect facts or generic useless answers from FAQ.

    • Mine is still pending too. Reported it on SB app the other day but have not heard anything yet.
