Been researching between this and Magnifica, and waiting for price to come down. Has good reviews. Now $639 which is better than previous deal so pulled the trigger.

Any auto frother is puss (just using steam as a venturi effect to pull through milk and mix with air). So will be cold bubbled milk.
A manual milk wand will always be far superior.
Best advice for these machines, dont try and make your shot too big. 25 mls in the cup max (none of this 1/4 cup of coffee, then milk stuff)

In addition, 4 months into ownership my machine died, returned to Philips under warranty for them to return it with problem fixed but they snapped the leg off in the process, so now it sits wonky and drip tray doesn't slide in properly. Their response "sorry for the minor break".
End of story for them.
Poor customer service IMO.
damn I paid around $900 for this, but so far so good. The best part is cleaning and what makes this great for me
Was thinking about this over delonghi Evo titan but went ahead with delonghi. Very pleased with delonghi for almost year now. The milk frother is top notch.
Bought this machine from last deal, thought I'd share my experiences.
Takes a long time to turn on and does an rinse every power cycle, id say it's about 30 seconds.
Milk frother isn't the greatest, doesn't get the milk thick and creamy as id like and as hot as id like, but doesn't have an annoying tube that requires cleaning.
Strongest late shot didn't get as strong as id like.
