Winter Medication Mega Bag: Pain / Cold Flu / Hayfever / Nasal Spray / Diarrhoea Relief + More $49.99 Shipped @ PharmacySavings

Hi Ozbargainers,

Lots of requests for a general medication bundle for the family, so here it is !! A massive grab bag of our most commonly purchased items for under $50 delivered.

Per my last post, Australia Post regular mail delivery is slow to the point of being near unusable at the moment with many clients reporting delivery time around 10-15 working days, I really hope those gold watches had a date function so the execs up the top can see how badly they are breaking Australia's only monopoly letter delivery service. If any Ozbargainers items are lost (per what we've done for the last 4 years) I will replace any lost items, but I'm again asking clients to be as patient as they can and wait before emailing me daily, upset (or worse) emails about slow delivery or lodging charge backs - please hang in there. I need your support in waiting for slow delivery of items more than ever at the moment as I know Australia Posts letter delivery service is really under strain at the moment.

Anyway - tonight's deal will be shipped by satchel with tracking (please select the free shipping option at checkout) the items will post by satchel and you'll receive tracking (so long as you provide an email address) - you'd be amazed how many people refuse to leave their email then contact me complaining I didn't email their tracking number ;-)

There's 1/10th of zero margin in this deal for me - so only 25 of these sets to go out tonight!

Thansk Jason I am still waiting for my order placed on 3rd march and replacement item on 5th April
    Let hope receive replacement soon

    • AusPost seem to exist in a completely different space-time continuum. The last order I made a couple of weeks ago took only 4 business days to reach me by letter post in regional TAS. Others have taken nearly two weeks, but I'm lucky enough to have never lost one.

I too am still waiting on an order from March, but I'll stay patient as requested. I reckon something has happened at Australia Post if many people aren't getting their orders.

Unfortunately my order didn't arrive but Jason was great with a refund.

Auspost must be having a time.

  • What is/are the active ingredients for the "48x Cold & Flu + Cough"?

    • Phenylepherine hydrochloride

      • That's listed for the 24x item but the 48x one isn't.

        • Follow the link on the post, then hover over the image and it zooms in so you can read the ingredients on the boxes. The Cold & Flu + Cough clearly shows Phenylepherine hydrochloride.

          • @Chazzozz: Cheers. I guess different expiry dates means they list them separately. PE = waste of time, shouldn't be allowed to sell given it literally does nothing.

            • @The Judge: To sell psudo they would need id etc

              • @Slippery Fish: Yes they would, and that's not justification to sell a medication shown to be completely useless in alleviating symptoms of URTI.

                • @The Judge: Hes a chemist, they all sell fentylphrine tabs. No reason to crucify the guy, he always puts good deals on for us But fair to comment that its a crap medication.

Paracetamol + hopes, dreams and wishes

As they don't have pseudoephedrine don't bother - useless and shouldn't be allowed to be sold

    • Active Ingredients
      dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate 10 mg
      paracetamol 500 mg
      phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg

Still waiting on my order form 24'th of March also. Haven't emailed you yet happy to wait longer

    • Yell out on Friday if there is no delivery, I'll look after you. I appreciate everyone waiting (and am now actively banning/blocking all users who open charge backs on day 11 or there abouts, especially those who misrepresent to Paypal that I fail to provide tracking - when non trackable post is selected ).

Any ibuprofen deals. As the last one for 192 tablets for $14 seems unavailable

    • +1

You can get a 24pk from Coles/Woolworths for $1.55 or ALDI for $1.49 if you can't wait for a deal.

    • Thanks for the message I will restock - I am having allot of trouble keeping up with stock at the moment due to large demand for a few lines.

      • Please let me know when you have.

  • The fact that pharmacies are still selling cold n flu with PE is a joke. This is banned in the US as they literally do not work

You need the OTC cold n flu

    • +1

Everyone on Ozb gets very angry when we list this item (Cold and Flu PE), so I very seldom (never) list this as a stand alone deal as the comments become unbearably angry.

Keeping the world in perspective - There are 10 items in this bundle, 2 item in the bundle of 10 items contains 1 ingredient of 3 active ingredients with questionable efficacy - Let's say you are right and that 1 ingredient in those 2 items is really useless in treating any cold/flu symptom, but is agreed generally to also be harmless - is it worth getting too worked up about it?

      • I mean PE does literally nothing to treat the cold n flu. This is proven so there isn’t a I’m right or your right. It’s scientific consensus now

No one is getting worked up just pointing out these should be banned on shelves and cold n flu with pseudo should be back available for all.

Meth heads still get their high every day in spite of the OTC requirement
