    Need this sub $300

    Need it to be 300 for one off tax deduction

    • I think you could find it very close to that price a year ago, but with prices increasing everywhere, in afraid this might be the new normal price

    I have this monitor, does not work well with M1 based Macs, and is far inferior compared to LG 27UP850N-W which is currently $399 at UMart/MSY https://www.umart.com.au/product/lg-27in-uhd-ips-freesync-mo…

      I have this monitor (the Dell) and it works flawlessly with my M1 MacBook Air.

      Also, the monitor you linked doesn’t do USB-C charging.

      • It does USB-C charging (MacBook is charged via same cable used for video signal)

        Might try using a proper OS?

      Give this a try:

      Dell S2722QC Flickering Issue Fix

      To get 4K/60Hz with USB-C:
      1. Go into the monitor’s OSD. [All settings should be at Factory Defaults.]
      2. “Display” -> “USB-C Prioritization”
      3. Change to “High Resolution”. [This setting increases the bandwidth used for video at the cost of reducing USB data speeds.]
      4. “Display” -> “Smart HDR”
      5. Make sure it’s set to “Off”. [When it’s set to on, the refresh rate on your monitor will fluctuate and be variable.]

      Also change the refresh rate from Variable to 60Hz on MacBook

        Thank you, I may give it a try, although I relegated it to another Windows machine.

    Not a deal at this price sorry.

  • 27 inch is too small for a 4k monitor. Either downgrade to a $200, 27 inch QHD (yesterday's deal) or up to a $600 32 inch 4k (Dell are sometimes that price). This 27" 4k monitor is an unsatisfactory hybrid.

    Or if you're rich get the $1,500 4k OLED.

      Don't know why you were downvoted. I agree. 4K doesn't make sense on a 27" screen. Needs to be 32" or above.

      • I can tell the difference between 1440p and 4k for work purposes though - at 4k, I find it easier to pick out items in large word based documents.

      Best res for Macs at 27 inch is 5K, and 6K @ 32 inch.
      4K @27 is the sweet spot of price and resolution for me.

    • Depends on your age. I am running 2 27" 4k Dell monitors, and i have been loving it for the last 3 years.
      Now, just about to hit 40 my eye sight is a little on the decline, so i have set the font size to 125%, which is still excellent.
      They fit perfectly in a corner setting while till being about an arms distance away from me. ie, not too close.
      I feel anything bigger wont really fit the space, and then will have to be moved too close.
      each to their own i guess.

  • 27UP600-W $299 at basically everywhere. 4K 60Hz IPS

  • Is this a deal? It was at $359.7 few days ago (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/840297), before student discount.

  • I’m guessing you held off on the last deal too huh??

    I was about to pull the trigger but at $332ish I thought it was too much, thought about it for a week and went to normal price. I bought this for $360 as you posted but didn’t think it’s a deal just rather a decent price for what it is - a modern, less wired solution to use with my work laptop.

  • How does this stack with a S2722DC ?

    Thinking if it might have scaling issues ? Thought pls
