  if you don't need usb-C option you can go for M50D version which is $299 direct on Samsung site.. same quality

  I have the S70D which is the same monitor, but without Smart, USB-C. It's ok to watch the video, but it's not good for work/office. Using the native resolution, the text is very small. When using the scaled resolution, it's not as good as the 2k monitor. And also mine is not support the MacOS HiDPI in 4k.

    Don’t change the resolution from 4K, change the font size scaling in windows instead.

  Bought two of these for my teenage kids from Boxing Day sale. I purchased this for them to use as second screen for their laptops and occasionally watch as tv. I am surprised with the capabilities of this screen. Crystal clear screen, an ok sound and Samsung live tv channels are great to have. USB c hub is built in so they can extend their MacBook screen via this cable which also charges their device. I highly recommend this for your kids or if you want a second small tv for your occasional viewing.

  yea i bought 1 of these for my elderly parents to watch tv and use as a computer monitor at the same time and they love it! perfect size.. you dont want any less than 32 inch for movie/tv watching.. its the perfect little thing. and samsung has its own free stream tv channels so get alott of free channels on the tv for those that like just watching tv etc.
