To get the latest and greatest I mean sure its a good price but last years model should be under $2500 by this point in time

Should get closer to $2250 for a buy , going by last year the Samsung and Sony may even go cheaper than that ,
but that may have been a hangover from the Covid Panic .
77” C3 at this price for the win ..

See them for YOUR-self, SIDE-by-SIDE comparison….take the reviews you have read as a guide-only…likely that some of them are paid-reviews, including Rtings?
Ring your local JB-HiFi to make sure these models are on display with daisy-chain output from a BLU-ray movie: & NOT-animation.
Ask permission to play your favourite clips: demo via usb-flash-drive ?

OLED looks better than MINI-led…but is it worth 2-TIME the price….each to their own?

TCL C845 is about to be cleared with new-model coming soon: watch-daily-> https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=tcl+c845&_…
Using PRIOR-yearS clearance as a guide, 65" may drop to $1.2K with FREE metro-delivery.
    Go TOO-low & it'll be SOLD-out…note the # of 'watchers' & may be risky to wait for $1.1K ?

Wait 4-6 months and save a further $600-800. This ain't no deal, mfkers.

    • You can apply logic that to almost every single deal posted on Ozbargain

True. Maybe the site needs a feature to flag this type of stuff. Like a little graph at the top of the page, show time of year vs expected price change. Might take some of the fun out of learning about the various annual sales and stuff, but that just means more time for saving $$ buying up all the shit we don't really need.
