These were about $25 each until recently. As far as the quality of the product goes, I'm going to guess that you'll get at least $20 of value out of it but shouldn't be expecting it to be a Worx Pegasus substitute.

Well in the days of $13 (precovid) if you leave it out for a minute in the rain it's goodbye Charlie. Being old, I have the same design made in Taiwan. These models where converted to tanks for the Chinese uprising as seen in TV.
I've had one for years. Have used it for painting timber, steel, but mostly itself.
Also found it very handy to rip down some Jarrah floorboards yesterday.
Clamped the new boards between the dogs, placed a scrap board alongside and then clamped a track guide to lock the scrap to the table and then cut super straight tapers using the track saw.
Normally would use the table saw, but I had to taper the cuts by 10ml over 6 metres.
Much easier than a long tapered cut on the table saw.
I have one of them for 4-5 years … its ok for the price
will be getting another one as wood had some water damage and showing cracks
Used a few of these for years on many projects, have hung on pretty well and I don't feel bad knicking them with the circular saw
Might work as a pizza oven stand 😁

Dumb question, but does this have an adjustable vice or do I need to buy a vice seperately?
I basically want a work table to hold stuff while I dremel into it etc
The two pieces of wood act as a vice.
Also the 4 plastic stops too… to hold larger pieces.

You place your workpiece between the black plastic dogs and then wind the handles until tight. The multiple dogholes allow you to clamp different shaped and sized workpieces.

These are useless, I had one for about 2 months and then one day while drilling one of the pieces of "wood" snapped. The chipboard in an ikea coffee table is more durable than this. the box it comes in is better quality cardboard than the work surface.

Can someone who uses this explains the purpose of the hole cutout in the centre when you have the vice fully closed? Is it for holding a stick? Why would I want to use it hold something vertically?
I put mine together. Will probably look at making some lower profile dogs to allow a planer to run over a workpiece, plus drilling through the mdf top pieces and replacing the existing screws with bolts that have a countersunk head.
I've had one for over 10 years and no issues so far…
Might use it for the first time in a few weeks…
