I have this. It's basic but does the job.

      ^^Agree.
Mine had a small amount of water spill on the timber (MDF) top and after a day or two, it had swollen and started to fall apart. It's way too light duty to hold anything with some weight to it. But each to their own..
P.s there are heaps of these at the tip recycling shop.

      • Your tip has a recycling shop?

They had to after twenty Craftright Folding Workbench's were dumped every weekend.

  • Now that you mention it, walked past these at Bibra Lake store yesterday, pretty sure they were tagged with the same price.

  • Purchased going to add it my 50 shades of grey inspired dungeon.

    • Make sure you seal the surfaces; as per a prior comment it's prone to failing if it should get moist

      • but it does the job! Maybe sournipples can comment?

        • 50 shades of grey dungeon?
Well I did some pounding on the workbench and it was fine…

          With a hammer*

          • @SourNipples: I'd like to use it for screwing and drilling. Would you recommending it?

            • @Indomietable: Yea. I was trying drill a piece of metal on it today and it was fine.

The table also works as a vice so that's a plus

These are worth about $1.92 and will last as long as an ebay phone charger.

Mine has lasted 8 years and 2 decks. It's all about where you store it and how careful you are.

I agree. Mine has lasted 10+ years.

        • +1

I agree too, mine has lasted 20 years and 4 decks!

      • +2

I agree, mine was passed down from my great grandfather and has only had 6 new decks and 4 frames.

    • Builder here. When ever I see someone bring one of these types of tables/stools to site I can almost guarantee they leave it either on site after they're done or throw it in the skip bin.
