If i remember correctly (I tried one earlier this year), it wasn't too bad. Better than strongbow / 5 seeds etc, but not quite up to the standard of "good" european ciders. It was sweet, but not as sweet as Bulmers/Magners.

Not as sweet as Magners? I wouldn't call them sweet at all. Compared to Swedish ciders anyway.

Well yes that is true… In the way that white sugar is less sweet than golden syrup :P

Just ordered a case. I live in Brisbane and post cost me $4.95. Still cheaper than buying from Dan Murphys. It has a reasonable review on Choice. Hubby and i love a cold cider on a hot day, and we are never short of hot days here.. so willing to give it a go!

  • I loaded my last few cans of cider from the last deal into the fridge last night, perfect timing…!

    I ordered 2 slabs …. Does Dan Murphy's "price match" ???????

  • RE Delivery, metro NSW, Vic & SA is some areas, not most.

      True, have updated description.

  • Hi All, thanks for posting this I was just in the process of posting myself and got the old "duplicate URL" error!

Our 3PL warehouse for wine will be shipping out ALL orders placed before midnight via Australia Post tomorrow. We've sold through about 1/6th of the stocks so far… they're moving fast, let your friends know so we can clear these & continue to bring in and offer similar wine deals.

Someone asked how it tastes, no idea sorry haven't tried it but reviews are generally pretty favourable :)

Pretty good idea for Christmas drinkies & get togethers, something a little different!

Hi Rep, what's the Best Before Date for the cider

      • I'll find out, stay tuned…

        • Still awaiting our warehouse/3PL supplier information on your request.

        • +2

Still interested in hearing the answer.

        • Me too. Hope they are not still brushing off the dust from the labels. :)

        • +1

Methinks rep didn't reply because it is close dated. esold is not a wine/beer specialist so they are probably clearing these. Might have been a good deal as BB date is just a guideline but I have too many other beers to get through first so I let this go.

      • I ordered it anyway. For $1.67 a bottle it i can't complain even if it's going to expire soon.

    • wish they would ship it - mine is still showing as "manifested" on tracking via Aus post

Best before Nov 2012. I wont be purchasing from eSOLD again as this should have been displayed on their website. At least I wont have any trouble finishing these before end of the month.

    • Hah, that's what I thought. Thanks for the info.

    • I can comfirm that that use by date on my delivery is 11/2012.

Once again such products are reduced because they have run out of time!!!

I note that this product is still being offered by eSold without disclosure.

    • Yep - same here. Not sure if knowing the date would have affected my decision to buy, but not disclosing the bb date (when it's about to expire) is dodgy at best. Not impressed

  • I will never buy anything from these guys again. Bought a case and discovered I only had a few weeks to consume it.

    Very low ESOLD.
