All time low. Great value card for 1440p.
More than 10 available at time of posting.
Also PNY 4070 non-super for $832, or $812 with plus - 7 available.

I reckon
Yeah
With the unlocked memory clocks it is marginally faster on average, so if you can find it for the same price or cheaper and aren't fussed about Nvidia features then yes it's a solid pick.
Yes, but kinda hard to commit to that at almost ~$1000!
I wonder if GPUs will ever go down to a reasonable price. Happy with my 1070ti until then
This is a huge improvement to where we were 2 years ago.
we won't see cheap again for top tier. more competition or better specs for hardware under under a grand is the future.
@beeze: It really is a big improvement especially considering inflation.
What about DLSS? is it better (important) to have than the amd equivalent?
From my experience (snagging a 3080 at launch), absolutely. I use it whenever it's been available as it's ~as good as Native+TAA that more often than not can't be disabled, and trying FSR when it's been available it's always been significant worse to my eye, very unstable, lots of flickering, shimmering, crunchyness sort of look.
Surely paying that bit extra for the 16gb Ti super is the better option here?
Not particularly in terms of value. The TI Super is around 30% more for 10-15% better performance on average at 1440p. The extra VRAM could be useful in certain scenarios, but it's a bit of a tossup as to how much value that adds.
hm, didn't realise the cheapest models were still $1200 on sale.. the gpu market is truly buggered. Guess i'll hold onto my 3080 till at least 50 series (not that I'm hopeful the pricing will be any less crazy)
Yeah, I wouldn't be in a rush to upgrade from a 3080. This kind of pricing is the new norm, unfortunately.
Hopefully Intel can upset the applecart a little with Battlemage, but who knows when that will finally make it to market.
Same here, holding on to my $1250 RTX 3080, but the next upgrade, I would expect to go for a 5090 and pay through the nose for it
The ti super price/performance might not appeals on current games. But it will be beneficial on the future with games that demend highter ram capacity.
Agree
Just got myself a 4070 ti super for $1249 on sale as I wanted the 16gb of VRAM. While I do agree tho that it’s not great value, it is still better and the extra vram will be beneficial for some games now and definitely in the future.
Got myself a 4070 ti super for 1199 on sale. I think the extra $$ is worth it in my opinion
Me too. Was going to get the 4070ti, but 12gb ram, I would already be hitting the VRAM cap with current games I am playing… and people were saying 12gb is enough. I can play in 4k too when I use the TV .
@DoUKnowTheMuffinMan Hi when was it. I am waiting Ti super on sale. ;)
If I purchase from this seller, and this seller is no longer on eBay before the 3-year warranty period expires, will it be a hassle to contact PNY..?
It's an ebay store run by Shopping Express/Kai Seng Computers so you should be alright.
Thanks for sharing - just picked up a 4070 Super for approx. AUD$876, calculated as follows: Ebay plus 17% discount (APR17) and Ebay gift cards @ 4% off from Rewards Gateway! Best bang for buck RTX 4070 card on this basis. Of course you could apply same strategy to the non 'super' card as well. Also not sure if I will get any cashback from cashrewards for this but will find out in next 24 hours i guess.
Reckon 7900 GRE is better if you dont care about CUDA or Ray Tracing?
