Good price for the 3 pack. Currently $799 at JB and Officeworks.
I was able to get Officeworks to price beat, $616.55 click and collect.

Can’t recommend these - the Google Home app is still so terrible.
I argue the opposite. I find it great.
Notification is quick. takes less than 5 sec for wired and less than 10s for wireless.
I will be viewing the live feed, or checking a notification, and no matter where I am, or how excellent my connection is, I often get buffering - it just seems so slow and unresponsive for me.
I would say that's your local network issue. You may need to upgrade your router, or add a mesh or move your router or cameras.
I have 5 nest cams at home, with 50Mbps NBN. They're always smooth when I watch live, regardless wifi or 5G mobile.
The only complaint I have with nest is that, the battery is drained rapidly if the camera cannot communicate with Google server.
There was a massive NBN outage in Melbourne in Feb. Many of us lost NBN connection for days if not a week.
My wireless nest cam had 75% battery and it's all gone within 24 hours.
Luckily, it's not an every day issue.
@AsukaST: My home internet is fine - running Unifi with 1000Mbps NBN FTTP
I also found the notification are better for active subscription.
@boomramada: I haven't had one issue with home. I have a door bell setup on a NZ house and cameras in au. Both houses can stream instantly without buffer.
Ring in au on other hand… Absolutely a joke. It's 1m from a ubiquiti access point. Is 90% offline. Only comes back on when I reset it. I even get some ring notifications with photo only to login and… Yup offline apparently. Also people press the button and it rings 1 minute later. Can't wait to get rid of this thing.
@fluberries: For me with subscription, Ring is little better than google.
Are you running power cables to the cameras? i found on battery i get all sorts of problems trying to wake them up from sleep trying to do a live feed. Everything is 100% better with a power cable
@faricity: Yup all powered
I read the Google Home dev team did an AMA on Reddit the other day and it was a wreck.
I've got 2 cameras and a doorbell and I constantly stream the cameras to a pc through the web browser and barely ever have an issue.
I have this Google camera to get notifications for my front door. It does a great job at detecting people but it depends on the placement, and I can access up to 3 hours of recorded video history without a subscription. However, the vehicle detection feature can be unreliable even though everything is properly configured. To power the camera, I am using a solar panel that was specifically recommended for this camera. Overall, I would only recommend using this camera to detect people coming to your front door.
Anyway I can record this and not pay for the premium ?
you talking about the subscription? yes they give you a free trial when you first purchase a camera. Since you might have a 3 pack you can probably get 3 months worth of free trials, but you lose your footage everytime it resets (does not reset if you are paying for it)
Read it again
No you only get the last 3 hours of recordings…
Gold wiring?
I'll pass thanks…
