      • Only wanted 1 - to use the Amaysim SIM. My previous free one just expired. I've used them for years to park mobile numbers (for over a year). So I like free Amaysim Deals. Any profit is a bonus.

  • Having updated peoples' tracking means they are definitely aware of this deal and the advertised rate is still $28 for the 80GB Mobile SIM Plan, so I am assuming the deal is still on. I will go ahead and grab a couple more in the morning.

Just to clarify, do we need to continue with direct debit/auto recharge to get the cashback or can I just turn everything off and still get $28 (like boost mobile cashback)? I kinda bought first, think later and not sure what the terms and conditions were…

        Hey there! You don't need to pay for a second month to get cashback (cashback is typically paid once per purchase). However, as mentioned before, the Amaysim store page on ShopBack highlights a 30-day SIM card activation requirement for Cashback eligibility.

  • How to let them send the sim inactivated? By the time I received the sim only 20 days left on the plan..

      You can go on chat to them today/the first time you use it. Say you only just got it in the post. Sometimes they will re-activate it so it restarts that day (and one time the person gave me a partial credit).
      Other way is to transfer a number and then it only activates after you get the sim do the transfer - but amaysim make you actually do it if you click that option (whereas boost have an option where you can change it back to a new number after you get the sim). Maybe you can go on chat and say you changed your mind - but could affect cashback?

        • Mine auto reset the days remaining when I received and started using the SIM.

      • It changed to automatically reset on first use - at least a year ago.
        But may not reset if don't put in phone for more than 7-14 days, in my past experience.

        Ordered this to Port from a Boost number, to ensure arrives not activated. (Won't be activating until almost 30 day mark.)

    Just to post an update on this, This cashback never tracked. raised a missing ticket.. after months and months got now with the below response: And i know none of this is true!

    You've clicked on another browser extension after clicking from ShopBack

    Clicking through to another page from a banner, pop-up or advertisement from the store's page.

      Not happy. Also no response to opened dispute. Just “closed”.

    • My missing cashback claim got rejected too. I sent the rep a dm. Not a good experience. Definitely going to make me stick with cash rewards.

    Rejected … for one of these reasons
    1. Your order was cancelled, returned, or exchanged, …
    2. Your order was paid for with a gift voucher
    3. Payment or stay was not completed.

    Interesting rejection reasons for a sim card purchase …

  • Just writing to say my cashback just got confirmed. Sorry it didn't work for several of you. I'm pretty sure I did mine through the app, FWIW.

  • Perseverance is the game.! Thanks to @gotyourback for chasing it up, and finally sorting it out. I had emailed customer service (multiple occasions) after they asked for order number with proof and plenty of screenshots. That proved futile. Glad @gotyourback was able to flex some muscle at ShopBack.
