i have always wondered if the 'pro series' timbs were actually any more well designed for working in rather than the standard ones that are more for fashion these days.
Otherwise yeah blundstones are my usual go to. loving the 787 which was my dream of a steel cap that ticked the box of perfect for client meetings then back out to see a site then back to meeting etc. Used to carry two sets of shoes and swap between as required.
Yeah there's no ventilation in Timberland.
Just would like to point out these are not for hiking in.
what are these for then?
Tradies
Trading in?
I climbed (walked up) mt kilimanjaro in a pair of steel capped boots (not these though)
Each to their own
Thoughts and prayers.
I have a friend who is an engineer and went hiking in his site boots…he didn't have the flexibility in his shoes and fell 100m down a ravine. Lucky bushes broke his fall and he escaped with a bruised rib but the fire rescue people were upset at the shoes he chose to wear. Another fireman actually had to carry his shoes separately at some parts of the climb back up since one of the fireman had to sort of piggyback him some parts of the way out of the ravine and the guy was saying how ridiculously heavy they were for hiking because of the metal plates inside.
This was in Malaysia but here's the news article:

Cool story
Just would like to point out these are not for hiking in.
David Goggins would beg to differ.. harden up mother ducker (because auto language filter).

P Diddy watch out.
Justin Timberland
Two pack.
I own a pair of non work Timbs and they're super comfy and top quality
No zips no deal :)
Agreed. These days I determine quality by how much time passes before I start needing a pair of pliers to undo the zipper.
I've got steel blue zips, never need to use pliers
Most comfortable shoes I own
Wd-40 keeps zippers in good nick.
I got the Aldi Blackhawk steel capped boots on clearance last week for 22.49. They fit well.
Where?, I can't see any where
Is it online or instore as well?
I got these last time they had this deal. They are good, but they are heavy and do not have the convenience of a zip. Would definitely get a zipped version next time
I don't care about zips personally, but these aren't heavy… They're very heavy, like bricks.
No size US13 - OOS.
I'd be interested if they had a zip - I leave my pair in my locker and swap in/out at SOD/EOD.Check this one with zip and composite toe ,size 12&13 got 2 colours - $79.99

No zips….deal breaker unfortunately
In my aging years of still wearing steel caps and hi viz in my manual labour jobThe Steel Blue 152 that's I've been wearing last 2 pairs definitely don't have the same quality as previously
On that note, anyone have the Blundstone twist lock style?
I don't understand how you get sufficient ankle support with a zip

I’m gonna use these for winter as they’re insulated and my redbacks for summer.
A different style but here’s a Redback being cut in half. The guy says it’s his comfiest work boot.
