No profit :(
Yes, I want them to pay me to use their internet, like usual
$2 bonus with challenge https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/838770
Can’t do this for eSIM? Physical only?
I believe they have esims now
They won't track CB for esims. First time i missed out CB and i thought that was the reason.
That’s annoying. Needed some data this weekend.
@internet-stranger: Go to Coles or Woolies in the morning.
@Daabido: Yea. But no cashback ;)
I want to have my cake (eSIM) and eat it to ($17 cashback)
@internet-stranger: But you need it this weekend… You left it too late
@CodeXD: No. The cashback came too late :p
@internet-stranger: Ahaha this one would have been perfect
Can we use starter Sim from Woolworths or Coles to use this deal or we have to wait for their Sim to arrive in post ?
No - have to wait & activate mailed SIM.
That SIM (number) is associated with your order, to get the 60GB bought here!
Ordered last $17 Deal, with $2 Bonus bought on 22/3. Tracking shows it has been sent received (found in letterbox)!
Can I get an order of "SOMETHING" with a side of "WENT WRONG" please?
Got served that a week ago.
Sent it back & ordered again.
Boost got my order right 2nd time.
Fortunately only happened once in so many orders in over a year.
Can I buy it as a physical sim for cashback purposes, then convert it into an esim? And if so, can I only convert to esim once I have the physical sim?
Thanks!
Was waiting for profit but at least it's still a free month to hop to
Was waiting for profit…
Same SIM $2 profit just 3 days ago!
Couldn't get the $2 bonus as I hadn't activated my current sim yet. Hopefully in 2 weeks time it'll be a profit one again.
I just know everytime I buy a $0 profit one, a $5-6 one pops up a few days later 😂
$5-6 (profit)… We shall see😉
Will also buy then.
$2 Bonus SIM has just arrived.
$2 Bonus (profit) is back🎉
$10 profit, not the same company but higher than any boosts 😁
@MeesusEff: Thanks. Used Amaysim many times.
$28 Cashback on amaysim Mobile $18 (Was $40) 80GB 28-Day SIM via SB
Delivery takes 2-5 business days. As need to port out of another SIM by 7/4 to keep my number, will have to use the Boost SIM I've received. Then port to Amaysim.
Previously Amaysim SIM received calls & SMS for over a year after initial 28d!
@INFIDEL: Oo I do have a spare number which I like and previously used the Aldi $5 year plan for. Do you think this sim could last a year?
@MeesusEff: Need to select a number at time of SIM purchase. Any number used to work. Used to change number to port to later.
Amaysim refused to port to a number if requested new number at purchase!!
Has lasted up to 2 years for me… In past. Was my preferred storage for mobile numbers.
Amaysim email a few times to notify number is about to expire.
On 14/2/24: "We're about to disconnect your service"
Can extend by adding $10 as PAYG service.
I keep getting error message at checkout..
same
Done and tracked.
Emails received: boost mobile at 6.19pm, shopback at 7.05pm.
always got something went wrong :(
Same
I have done this last time, can I still get cashback if I buy one this time?
Yes, you can buy more than one, just new transaction every time
Thanks
Boost Mobile: $2 Bonus (Activate via App) @ ShopBack for those who haven't seen it.
First time in a long time my order went through.
“Something went wrong” …
Cleared my browser cache for both shopback.com.au and boost.com.au .
Change DOB and used a work address.
Order went through.
When does these sims activation expire? Still on the 1 yr plan till next jan
No matter how many times I try keep getting something went wrong… I guess I'm not meant to get this deal hahah
If you have a Telstra ID you need to use the exact same details. That solved the errors for me.
I don't understand why these deals are popular. Are people getting new numbers each time? What's the benefit?
Does this have to be activated within a certain period of time after ordering, to quality for the cashback?
Yes i believe u have to activate within 30 days. Can anyone who has done a sim swap or transfer to esim straight after confirm their cash back hasnt been declined?
Thanks. I just saw this 30 days requirement too when digging further into the Shopback website.
Whoever negged me. It would be helpful to remind everyone of this important requirement rather negging someone asking a legit question.
Thanks for what you have done.
Thumbs up to you mate.
Warning i Still haven't been able to transfer to esim kept on getting technical error while trying to download esim from telstras url. So after trying 3 different esim phone models and having lost service for a few days i had to call up and demand they reinstate my main number on to a pschical sim. So i dont recommend doing it for your main contact number.
Last time I tried to convert to eSIM on a new Boost SIM. It took me a few days after activation of the physical SIM before I could successfully convert it to eSIM. You may want to wait a few days first.
Tried this from the app last week and it was instant transfer to eSIM. No issues.
mine been instand transfer to esim before but this month had to wait 48 hours after I updated some personal details (they said was for security)
Thanks OP
A question - I was a Boost Mobile customer 3 years ago before 2021.
Will I be accepted as a new customer with my existing email for the Boost account registration?
Or do I need a new email to register "to be a new customer"?
Thanks
"New customer" just means you can't use this plan to recharge a number already with Boost, not whether you've ever been a customer of Boost in the past.
Lots of people port in and out of Boost on a regular basis. Some people get blocked when they take it too far and order too many SIMs, but sensible people shouldn't run into many issues.
Cant get order to process. Error multiple times on different devices.
Still haven't received mine from the last deal
