          You can choose to move, you can also choose not to purchase products of child slavery and human trafficking but you're very likely using one to comment.             @lookingforadeal7: I don't mind posts like the one from grimeywaifu on the possible wider impacts of our purchasing decisions. You can agree, disagree, ignore as you will.

            Seems to me it's actually one of the few areas in our life when we might actually be able to make a difference. I have some serious concerns about the BDS movement but the extreme reactions to it, including anti-BDS laws in the West (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-BDS_laws), suggests that it might actually matter.

            Agree with you lookingforadeal7 that there is some picking and choosing on which issues people decide to campaign on, which can seem hypocritical and selective. Such is life with limits on our time and attention as well as our interests and biases.
