    • Not on all routes. Depends on availability. eg same price on KL-Gold Coast as I booked nearly 2 hours ago.

  • I got my flight one way, but looks like I missed out on the return flights. Prices were changing as I was looking.

    • Hmmmm. Maybe you should hold out before booking a return ticket straight-away? Wait for another sale over November? After all, the flight is not until next year.

Also, there's nothing to say you have to fly back on the same carrier. :)

True! I have been looking at adioso.com. However, I did miss out on a $98 ticket back to Sydney from KL.

What I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall in the meetings where they make pricing decisions.

        • I think their system is not so good.

You should try to find return trip as normal, find the flight you want to return

Then change the top bar to single trip, destination and date. You will get the price in MYR.

DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE, whereas the price's going to increase.

P.S. If you can see the price on tap bar that means you didn't get a promotion price.

  • Much more civilised booking an AirAsia deal in waking hours, than at 2 or so in morning like usual.

  • did this start at +8 (12pm) which is +10AEST at 3pm(with daylight saving)

when I started looking at 2:5*pm, there isn't a special at all!!
and guys above who posted at 2:01pm said they got a bargain!

Still the sale price are there , we need to start from the sale page navigation every time

  • The cheapest i found is $175 AUD SYD-KUL and $269 KUL-SYD (return ticket)
Search one way for KUL-SYD get ticket at $90.99 AUD

    Just got Scoot sale email…
    $101 (S$129) Gold Coast/Sydney-Singapore / $156 (S$239) back to GC & more for Syd booked from Singapore
$149 flights Gold Coast/Sydney-Singapore & $179 back booked from Australia
Mix & match with Air Asia.
(ignore the sale prices & search) http://www.flyscoot.com/index.php/en/promo-fares.html?utm_so…

  • Could not find anything in Jan, Feb. Got PER-KL return in March for $253. I applied a $95 credit from my last AirAsia delay (lol) to bring it down to $158. This beats the Jetstar PER-SIN return I did two weeks ago for $207.

  • I just book with Flyscoot :) they are having sale atm and review from my friend was very positive :)

    • Good price & service for a discount airline, but bring your own food! Food is crap!
I tried meals other passengers had refused to even open, as they had tried it on way to SIN.
Very disappointing for a Singapore based airline, owned by Singapore Airlines.

  • For my good people at Ozbargain who missed out on the sale (from Perth).

Perth to bali is $139 one way on air asia (dates in febuary).

I would get Jetstar to price beat by 10% and you have a decent price :)

The return price is not great, since the last time I flew I got it for $50-80

  • Just got email with booking confirmation - Empty Seats Option starting from MYR20
On my KL-Gold Coast flight MYR105 = au$33 (refundable if unavailable) + MYR2 joining fee for extra 2 empty seats. "Empty Seat decision will be emailed normally 1-3 days before departure and at least 4 hours before departure."
Or Premium Flat Bed Upgrade option for $139 on KL-Gold Coast (if available)

    • You may also be paid to shift your travel date!
"If Optiontown shifts you to this FRO Flight, you will get an additional FRO Shift Reward of MYR 150."
Up to $50 (in rewards?) to shift flight forward 1 day - if available for your flight.

Seems if your flight has spare seats - you can upgrade to 3 seats to sleep for around $33.
If flight is full, and you are flexible, get moved to a different day & get paid up to $50.
But accommodation costs may negate any benefit.
