Not if you know the same device was sold for $149 few months ago
Anyway, Both you and Customer Service are really friendly
          So no complaint about that

        • Buffalo had a deal and we did pass that onto our customers. Thank you for the feedback.

  • the person i chatted to online said they don't beat clearance items. i haven't dealt with bing lee before, any help would be welcome.
EDIT: forgot to mention, i was referring to the nexus 7.

Please review our price match policy http://www.binglee.com.au/competitor-pricing-policy

Just spent some time chatting to get a price match, not price beat, on the Breville BKE820 Kettle. You have it listed for $139 with free shipping.
Alwaysonsale.com.au have it for $96 plus 9.95 shipping. The guy in the chat room refused to match price, would only go down to $129.
If you can do it for $106, you have a deal.

        Any help, Bing Lee Rep?

          Bing Lee sucks like that…

    • Person I chatted online said they cannot price match as well…

  • I registered two AMEX cards.
Too bad I can only up vote once ;-)

    • I did that the last time with a supplementary card on the Westfield offer but AMEX only ever sent out ONE reward per account.

    http://www.binglee.com.au/hp-wdbacz0010bbk-nesn-1tb-simplesa…

Couldn't get the online chat to budge even a dollar.

    • Yeah, please make some good deals on portable & desktop HD.

  • Hi BingLee rep will you have stock of the nexus 4 on the 13th November? Fingers crossed that you will?

I just bought a $119 Tefal FV5355 iron 'negotiated' for $95, less $30 AMEX cashback, less a $50 Flight Centre voucher (Tefal offer running until 24th Dec). A good iron for $15 is not bad, especially when I'm looking at purchasing flights soon :)

BTW - I was devastated when her best price was less than $100, so I bought a $16 personal groomer for $15 :)

called up and was told that $30 credit only applies to purch of items and gift cards dont apply…but cant seem to use gift card online anyway. Also said that if you call to split payment over 2 cards the you dont get $30 and neither does price match. Basically anything over phone=no credit…

    • Thanks for the call, how about the price match in the store?

      • Just got email from AMEX and my cash back has been qualified, it was a price match in store.

        • What do you mean by 'qualified'? Did you get the cashback?

        • This is what the email said. I think AMEX means the transaction is valid, and the credit will be back to the card in 5 business days.

    • nothing in the T&C tho

  • Anyone got anything else that worthwhile?

  • Anyone bought their giftcard to test if that entitles to the credit back?

  • How about a better deal on the Nexus 7 rep?

Nexus 10in is coming soon, want to shift that stock I would have guessed :)
or the 7 in galaxy tab?

At least match the likes of Kogan who are stealing your business!

  • If you have registered 2 cards, and 2 cardholders names are different (one main, one supplementary). You can purchase 2 items, $100 each then get $60 back.

    So $200 - $60 = $140.

Negotiate before you buy, don't tell them you know about this deal. Jsut assuming you are price matching with another B&M store.

Assuming you can't split the AMEX transaction for one item, that means you need to spend on two differnet items with $200 worth in total.

It is still a great deal regardless! Thanks OP!

Anyone else noticed BL has put up price on items???

eg. Uniden - BTS 200 - Bluetooth® Portable Teleconference Speakerphone

was $44 a few weeks back… now is $79!??!?! What the???

  • This promo is not worth it. eg. The Buffalo hard drive is retailing at Harvey for $149 and I never buy from Harvey unless they have a sale (which they do every two weeks)

  • Yeah… seem pretty questionable pricing… I do wonder sometimes if Vendors have heart of The Trade Practices Act.

  • So today our fridge died. And at 10pm I ordered a fridge online from binglee. Even got them to do a deal online! Now that is service!

    • What deal was it?

  • I bought Kenwood Kettle from Bing Lee using the AMEX $30 cash back offer, as well as the Kenwood cash back offer. I didn't ask for price match with Bing Lee, but I did haggle a bit, plus negotiated for free shipping. I paid exactly $100 total to be eligible for AMEX offer.

Kenwood offer I found in the OzBargain was below :

Kenwood Mixers and Food Processors - Bonus Attachments and Cashback ($30- $50) on Selected Models
    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/83691

But mine appears a different to the one it was already posted. I used "kMix Christmas Offers" you can find it :
    http://www.kenwood-australia.com/media/pdfs/promotions/Kenwo…

Total of $60 saving! Thank you, Bing Lee, AMEX and Kenwood.
