They did ok with the Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo 1.89L. Got that in a week.
Ill give em another go. Plus this might help my car. For $12 bucks worth a go.
Have bought several items off Sparesbox (online and ebay stores) anticipating the long delivery times but have been pleasantly surprised by the normal delivery times. Perhaps they have improved over time, IDK. I'm happy to buy off them in the future if it's a bargain and I don't really need it urgently.
The past 2 deliveries i've ordered from sparesbox have been couriered to my address in less than 3 days from order, no issues recently. Thats on oil filters, and bowdens products.
Is this what the mechanic uses and charges you $180?
yes
Is this better than the Nulon stuff I've been using?
Yeah Liqui Moly is superior in my opinion.
Have used this on my VW Golf R Wagon 7.5 after a service with some mild success and it has helped to smooth out some rough acceleration issues.
The roughness does come back after a year so it’s one of those things I add to my car after each yearly service interval.
Same but hatch. How do you use it? Add to full tank of fuel?
Yeah, it needs to be put in with a full tank of fuel, as per the instructions on the can.
Also, I've made it a mission to put in top-tier quality fuel (such as BP) and avoid cheap independent ones. BP Ultimate 98 has additives (not sure if 95 or 91 does) to help keep the engine running clean while the lesser-known companies don't.
At 110k kms, the EA333Gen3 engine on mine needs to be cared for to keep it running optimally.
Sounds like you're reading the advertising too much. https://practicalmotoring.com.au/car-advice/dirt-busting-fue…
"
And, while we asked BP for its data, it said it only released its test results and the make-up of its fuel if required by a Court. So, in summary, all fuel sold in Australia contains an amount of cleaning agent, but some allegedly carry more than others (none of the fuel retailers here have submitted their fuel to independent testing) – there’s no mandated amount of detergent that fuel sold here should contain. And there’s the rub; other countries have mandated an amount of cleaning agent that should be in fuel, but not Australia.

Oos
It may be back. I think it automatically restocks after a while.
Back in stock (8am)
Pretty sure they are just another drop shipper so could take a while for stock.
They’re owned by GPC
used this before, and it is not as good as Wurth Petrol Injection Cleaner (5861111300).
Says out of stock
Redline si-1 or Techron concentrated cleaners with high PEA are much better than this in my experience.
Two or three others feature regularly in "best" discussions. Royal Purple, Seafoam, Lucas…..
All exe.
Bought 2 Liqui moly usually sold a higher price at repco and autobarn

Thanks. Appears to be working.
Yep. Worked for me too for $14.45. Thanks.
I use this every 10k km after the service
The Nulon is cheap as well. $12.99 for 1 bottle at SCA.
In between using an injector cleaner I fill up with the cheapest fuel possible. Is that false economy?
You will wait 3 months for shipping only to be told no stock and your order will be cancelled
