Guessing it's too muggy for hiking and biking

    • shopping for my missus and food for me..

    • Fly with Cathay and you can do both on one ticket

    • Food is still relatively cheap, but only if you're after HK style food.

    HODL

No more tourists or expats anymore, HK flights can go cheaper.

I paid $630 return with Qantas in 2019 when people actually went to HK, should be sub $600 now.

Used to be a mega HK fan but President Xi Jinping has ensured it is now a place to be avoided.

Qantas is offering cheap points trips to HK - these are airfares they can't giveaway.

    • Totally. HK should be boycotted

    • I don't see any cheap points trips to HK on Qantas.

  • Cheapest is $849 when clicking on your Syd -> HK links. What am I doing wrong?

  • Credit status and points earned to Oneworld (Qantas Frequent Flyer)

Worth noting that Qantas are stingy with Cathay Pacific credits on cheaper fares. Eligible fare classes don't kick in until booking class L which is ~$1500 return. Tickets at this price point are likely N or S which earn zip with Qantas.
