        They do as a second leg from Singapore onwards (flying to Athens in June, second leg on scoot, first on Sing Air)

    Flown Scoot before and 7 or so hours to Singapore is enough, couldn't imagine going all the way to Europe. Good if you just care about the dollars though.

    Allso, by the time you add luggage, the prices can be not that much cheaper than a full service airline. Pays to do your own research as always.

      You get what you pay for. Paid about 1/3rd the price of SQ. Not only that, I also had 2 connecting flights with Scoot.

      Luggage is a bit expensive i agree, but for those that travel light i'd say it's still worth it.

      Quiet zone is worth the upgrade, costed me about 50 AUD and i got extra leg room too.

      Scoot is ultra low cost so besides a seat you get jack sh!t lol. You can buy food but it is pretty average and not worth it IMO. They say they don't allow food to be brought onboard but unless it's hot food I have never seen anyone enforce it. No TVs, you can pay for WiFi and use your own device.

      Its like if they decided to make Jetstar worse. No free tap water, they even restrict bringing food on board, ironing board seats and $5 charge to use onboard power. Their meals are a real let down for south east asian airlines and don' t come close to Air Asia's buy on board food.

      If going to Europe, it's better to look at Chinese carriers as they can be around the same price with luggage and food included or even some if the full service carriers for not much more.

      Scoot only really works out for South East Asia flights and peak times.

        Can't be worse than VietJet where they seize all your water at the airport before boarding. No free water onboard of course.

    These deals should include flight times. Personally, Sydney to Phuket which total travel time is 1d 3h vs Jetstar for $140 more which is direct. I think for that kinda of money this deal is just not worth it unless you want to do Singapore and Destination travel place.

    Almost $900 to get to Europe is not great TBH…Just spend a tiny bit more and fly a full service airline. Sometimes Chinese airlines fly there for less than $1k.

    lol havent flown with scoot in almost 10yrs. I remember I would take my backpack of food into the toilet to eat without getting harassed by the staff for not buying their $15 sandwiches.

    Haven't really tried Scoot before, so I kind of want to try them out ngl to see if their seats, food etc really are as bad as people say they are for long haul or are just serviceable - AirAsia's my main LCC to compare with.

      Honestly, it's not all that bad. As long as you realise they are a low-cost carrier and adjust your expectations accordingly.
      Bring your own food on board (eat it sneakily because apparently they don't allow outside food on board, not sure if they actually enforce it though).

      I got back from Singapore yesterday flying scoot. We went the quiet cabin area. Legroom was great, seats are fine, I'm a big guy so if you were smaller I'd say you'd be more comfortable than me.

      The carry on limit is 10kg and they haven't checked me once when I've used it, the food doesn't look great but you honestly just need a protein bar or something to tide you over. If you were flying to Athens you'd just eat a decent meal at Singapore and stock up on food at the 7-11s at Singapore airport which have some great sushi options. I still don't think I would go to Europe on them, but flying to Singapore is a bargain.

      The most annoying thing I found about scoot is that they don't want you to have your headphones on during take off or landing. Strange.

    I miss Scoot OOL departures. GC to Athens - then Ryan Air to London. Went for a weekend once, my Nans 100th - to wait for the postie to deliver the Queens birthday card - true story.

    Next week, I am flying from DPS to SYD via SIN with Scoot, just carrying cabin luggage.

    After I last flew with Scoot, I swore never again. However, I am a sucker for a cheap price.
