      Awww man

    • The real bargain. Cheers!

    • seems I only get the C&C option no delivery

      • Yeah i see $174 click and collect only

        • I ended up going Amazon AU as according to Bing Lee's website they're out of stock

    • Anyone else still waiting for their eBay order to be shipped?

      • Mine hasn’t shipped yet either

        • Mine finally shipped this morning.

I just noticed that on the link you posted it mentions "USB3.1" but the Bing Lee listing is "USB3.2 Gen 2". According to this very confusing table on the Kingston website there is a 5Gbps difference between "USB3.1" (USB3.2 Gen1) and "USB3.2 Gen". Just in case.

      • But the question is did OW just had the wrong specs as i don't think Samsung would have released two different versions of this. One with 3.1 and one with 3.2 gen 2.

        • Yeah I like to think its more likely that the 3.2 Gen 2 revision just came in silently and OW never realized/bothered to update. Besides, even then 3.1 (aka 3.1 Gen 2) 5Gbps vs 10 Gbps wouldn't bother the majority of people. I only mention it for the minority.

      • It’s confusing, but USB 3.2 gen 2 is exactly the same as USB 3.1 gen 2. Both are 10 gbps. That’s why this product has been described as both.

        USB 3.1 gen 1 = USB 3.2 gen 1 is 5 gbps.

  • Any Tesla users use this one for the dashcam? Any comments?

Using a T5 on mine, no dramas at all.

Works well. Just make sure you partition it before using and name the folders as they are in the original. I found this video useful.

Yep, using a T7 on mine. Works great. Setup as per Bal's link.

  • Samsung's site for the MU-PC2T0T: https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/portable-ssd/t7-2t…

    Transfer in a flash

Transfer massive files within seconds with the incredible speed of USB 3.2 Gen 2 on the T7. The embedded PCIe NVMe technology facilitates sequential read/write speeds of up to 1,050/1,000 MB/s* respectively, making the T7 almost twice as fast as the previous Portable SSD T5.

Compatible with multiple devices including PCs, Macs, and Android devices.

Should also be compatible with the new iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max

    • Exactly got one for it

    • Can confirm I've been able to play a video file from my T7 on my iPhone 15 PM.

Thanks, picked one up. I had a 1TB version and use these to edit photos on the go. Great read/write speeds even for 61mp raw files.

Damn you OzBargain. I didn't really need one but I bought it anyway. I knew I shouldn't have looked.

bargain - spend at the 'bar'-'gain' in weight

  • 58 grams, nice

  • 4TB $398 if you ask OW to price beat bing lee.

    • What are you talking about ???

There is no HDD on Bing Lee 4TB for $398??

      • Never mind, the sale was over, it was on sale $419 on bing lee yesterday, and I managed to get OW price beat.

Thanks OP, Officeworks did $180 for red 2TB

  • I have an older 256GB one, these drives are ok.

  • For anyone who wants some reference for speed (writing to T7):

    Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 2.5" SSD - sustained ~400MB/s.

    Kioxia 256GB NVMe Gen3 x4 - sustained ~510MB/s.

They're great little things for $180.

$118 for 1TB is also a reasonable price?
Edit: $109 with code in ebay BingLee
Edit2: $104 for the red - I don't know why the color matters but hey

    • Whi cares what colour it is so long as its cheaper.

Thanks OP! Price matched/beat to $180 at OW.

10% off sitewide (exclusions apply) for Bing Lee. Starts at 6pm tonight

Price matched/beat at OW for $180

looks like OW price beat for $180 is today's deal

I paid about $95 for a 1TB version last year which is now about 75% full (speed is great - backs up my 1TB laptop in like 6 seconds!)

so I could pony up for this in advance of need, but I'm thinking that by the time I do want a 2TB, this price might be the new normal
