Not really worth it these days.

I won't be renewing unless they do another 99 cents deal.

    • Got mine for $30 :) (just the one city) worth it for the 5% Woolies discounts. I wouldn’t pay anymore though…. So many things are gone since I last had it 4-5 years ago

How did you get 12 months for $30?

    • +1

Same, what a load of crap! Deals that have more hidden fees than what the actual price is, never again

I got the 99c deal and saved about $150 over the 3 months, but a lot of that was "Where shall we go?; Oh, let's go here because it's in the book".

      • That's why I never bothered.

    • I bought 99c deal last year. Procrastinated to activate it until the last day and didn't even use it a single time during the three months.

        Ask for a refund.

I didn't even get to use the 99c offer.

Well with the Fork going down at the end of March I think the Entertainment Book has an opportunity to claw themselves back into relevance again. Let’s see what they do.

      Let’s see what they do.

Nothing around our area is worth it.

All the good restaurants that used to be part of it have now departed from the book.

Only a couple of 'mediocre' offers are available and several times I've tried to used it in recent months, have been refused.

There are also a few vouchers that show an error when you try and redeem and they list lots of places that closed down ages ago.

      • +1

I guess that’s the point in “seeing what they do” isn’t it

      • I've also noticed that when they first started up a huge portion of the vouchers were buy 1 get 1 free main meal / item, now you may get the odd free ice cream or something but restaurants are all pretty much max 25% off.

I'm using EatClub instead… Usually around 30-40% off.

HSBC give you a watered down version with their credit cards. Not too bad.

    • To main book is already 'watered down' from what it was 5 years ago.

      • Significantly watered down for Sydney.

        • Climate change?

    • Where?

      • Australia

  • Not worth the "membership" these days. Just constant spam irrelevant emails all day!
