They already are. Eg: JB Perth City has sent most of their stock back to the distributor.
They offer 2 for 1 deals and you can't find anything in store to get for the second movie. It's ridiculous.
Post isn't expensive but it hurts on these low value transactions.
They also don't let you buy JB gift cards with TCN etc since November 2023.
They've fkd themselves up entirely for movies. They're literally slowly turning into their partner The Good Guys just trading under a different name and putting a few toys etc on the side to look cool. Maybe it's a fake duopoly that they think they're going to get?
If only they had the brains to at least distribute 4k and stop wasting shelf space with DVDs. 4k can actually co-exist with streaming.
Blu-ray and 4K only would be good.
The originals aren’t exactly amazing in 4K but including the new one in this makes it a pretty damn good price.
Latest film is awful.
Will JB follow suit with other retailers overseas and pull physical media from shelves?
