  Good value for price, but not bright enough so be mindful of that in a bright room

  86inch TV for this price. For anyone who wants a large TV and branded, I don't think they will go wrong unless they are spec nerds.

    Agree that size trumps most specs. That being said, the backlighting on this tv is pretty basic. This impacts dark scenes when watching at night, the blacks can appear grey. mostly affects movies rather than sport or gaming.     I had an earlier lg direct lit tv from 2020 and our new C3 is like night vs day (as is the price of course). I kept same size with OLED vs a bigger led and am happy.

      For someone who has the 77 G2, I know the quality is more important to me. But, there are so many normies that get engrossed in the content than the quality. For them, I genuinely wish them to enjoy something that doesn't break the bank.
