Check the printer's spec see if there are 5 or 6 ink cartridges in the printer. Generally, the more cartridges, the better output.
The MP610 has 5 cartridges.
The MP970 has 7 (the extra 2 are dedicated to photo printing).
Under terms and conditions it writes this.
5) Duration: The offer commences Thursday 1st November 2007 and ends at Midnight AEDST Monday 30 June 2008. ("Promotional Period").
Is this the correct dates or have they changed?
I can't seem to find anything on that canon web page which states what physical size the printed photo will be??? And did anyone find out if the promotion has indeed expired?

i ordered one about 2 1/2 weeks ago and recieved it today
what size is it carterdog? 6"x4"? 8"x10"?
It nearly fits a whole A4 page but on photo paper
Sounds like 8" x 10" then.
I've given it a go and we'll see if/what turns up in the post.
