Have been tracking the price of this monitor - was $230ish yesterday and dropped to $195.49 this morning. There's a one time $40 coupon available on the page bringing it to $155.49.

From searching I've seen that the ESR shopfront direct is banned however since this is via Amazon payment will be processed by them.

edit: edited to put store in title, had originally put it in there because I thought the coupon was limited to Prime members only but tested it with incognito mode and looks like coupon open to all

Yes but looks like OP hasn't posted a deal since 2014 (10 years), so let it go Elsa.

          You're not a great judge.

Thanks for sharing a deal, so strangers can save money. We're not all self-entitled.

  • Aspect ratio: 2.22:1.

    Can anyone confirm exact resolution?

  • Coupon not showing up for me. Expired?

    • Yep, I've already reported it.

    • Looks like it. It was there for a short time

  • Expired :(

  • Coupon shows when logged out and incognito, so perhaps targeted

There a quite a few options that are regularly below that price:
E.g. Portable Monitor, 15.6 Inch FHD
    ZFTVNIE Portable HDMI Monitor 15.6
Kenowa Portable Monitor 16 Inch Full HD (currently with $20 off coupon)

You can even get a touchscreen for that sort of price:
E.g. Touchscreen Portable Monitor Lrtzcbi 15.6" HDR FHD

    • Anyone know if these can be used so both kids can play switch in the car, have their own screen (same image)?
Guessing extra hardware (splitter?) is needed?

    • Wow a portable touch screen at that price?

    • +4

Love how in the Kenowa portrait photo option they couldn't be bother rotating the image…..

    • Agreed, however I liked the ESR due to the portrait orientation (going to use it mainly for terminal windows), plus it also had HDMI + USBC. I was looking at the Thinkvision M15/L15 and the built in stand, whilst good, would have impacted portrait orientation and the cheaper Zenscreen I was looking at only had single USBC.

Build quality on this ESR looks to be better than some of the Chinese options and I wanted something a bit more robust for international flights. If I wanted cheap with plastic I would've gone full value mode and gone direct to Aliexpress (maybe for a ZSUS like in previous deals).

  • looks like a decent price.

i'm wondering if there are products like this that would be suited to attaching to the side of my existing monitor in portrait orientation for docs/reports etc? or is it better to go dual monitor? i am happy with my single monitor setup most of the time but having a dedicated spot for portrait stuff would be killer.

    • Does your single monitor rotate? Or maybe get a second that does, the size of a portable in portrait wouldn't be much more than a normal monitor in landscape

    • +3

Currently run a 4K 32inch centre monitor and two 24inch HD side by side in portrait for docs and Teams/Outlook, loving it

    • If your deskbound then definitely go for a second monitor - just make sure it's IPS so it works well when rotated 90 degrees, if you needed portability from time to time then this is a good option.

  • Is there any good small size(10"~12") portable touch screen monitor for car?

    • What did you want to plug it into? or you wanted a standalone head unit type display?

      • I want to use Samsung Dex mode and Nintedo Switch display.

  • Brightness of only 250 cdi. Not great for this price.

  • I've got a 1080p USB C 14 inch one and I like it but I think I'd prefer to go to a resolution on my next one, maybe 1440 or 1600

  • I lost it . Let it go hahahahahahahahababba

  • Just received mine, definitely 1920x1080 60hz 8 bit panel. Brightness is fine for my intended use case and on paper brightness is the same as the Zenscreen I was looking at.

    Overall, happy with purchase.
