Alright.
Here's this VIVO Premium Aluminum Full Motion Single Monitor Desk Mount – basically just a fancy arm for your screen. According to Camel3, it's at its cheapest price in years
They're banging on about premium aluminum construction – it's not a spaceship; it's a desk mount. I just want it to hold my monitor, not withstand a meteor shower. And it supports a monitor weighing up to 17.6 lbs – my monitor's not on a weightlifting regimen. I just want it to sit there without straining itself.
Fully adjustable – like it's training for the Olympics. -90° to +90° tilt, 180° swivel, 180° rotation – is my monitor breakdancing? I just want it to stay put, not join a circus act. And the maximum screen height is 24.4" – my screen's not climbing Mount Everest; it's sitting on my desk.
Mounting options – they're making it sound like a NASA launch. Sturdy desk clamp and grommet mount – it's a monitor arm, not a moon landing. I just want it attached without needing a construction permit. And it fits desktops ranging from 0.39” to 2” – they're acting like it's designed for the Great Wall of China. I just want my desk, not an engineering project.
Compatibility – it fits most 17” to 32” monitors – because apparently, monitors are like shoes now. And it has USB ports on the base – it's not a charging station; it's a monitor arm. I just want to watch videos, not plug in my entire life.
In summary, if you're in the market for a monitor arm that thinks it's auditioning for a circus performance, this VIVO thing might be your screen's new personal trainer. As for me, I just want a mount that holds my monitor without thinking it's in a Marvel movie. Keep it simple, VIVO.
Told ya, @Qnox.
This is far too expensive Karl.
I have a dual arm that I paid like $60 for, but I am using them to hold music gear.
EDIT, since it can hold up to 32 inch, that's not a bad deal.
