        Yep MASSIVE RIP OFF in Australia. Eg the U7 Pro is AU $280 in USA , £143 (AU$279) in the UK and yet virtually double the price here!!

        I suspect whoever is the importer here in Oz as usual is the one jacking up the prices. Wish Ubiquiti sold products directly here like they do in USA and Canada.

          You can just order from the US store, they happy accept payment with an AU card.
          I did this a few weeks ago to get the new UXG-Lite, it cost me about $70AUD for the Australian shipping from HopShopGo.

            @Nom: This works well … until it doesn't. It just takes the item to be faulty and suddenly you're either writing the item off or having to faff around and pay out the arse to send it back to the US to get it replaced.

              @nathanos: This is precisely why people are willing to pay the inflated AU costs.

              But modern electronic devices are spectacularly reliable - think about all the electronic devices you interact with, and how many times you've needed warranty repairs on them - it's a fraction of a percent of the total number.

              This particular risk is so small that it's not worth worrying about 👍
