Sanyo Eneloop 4 Pack AAA & AA Batteries - should be or not and.
Wont pay more than $20 shipped for 8 of these. Got the glitter 8-pack from COTD last week for under $20
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/81997
DSE deal was $1.90 cheaper for pickup.
Yeah, even better if you have a DSE close to you
for AAA too?
sadly no. DSE tends to sell AA only.
DS deal is still on - until 22/10 - in catalogue.
DSE - 8x AA Eneloop Rechargeable Glitter Batteries for $19.99 (pickup)
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/81509
yes just saw a side stack full of these 8 packs for $19.95 @ DSE, why would you pay $12 for 4…
Only AAA price is good.
AAA Eneloop Lite are good - charge faster, lighter, longer life (2000 charge cycles), CHEAPER ($1.88 ea against $3)! But slightly lower capacity (600 against 800mA)
Major use I have is remote controls - which they are ideal for (don't need high capacity, lighter, & charge holds longer than throw away batteries - like all Enelope). Bought a stack from Korea on eBay with trader with good rep & other OBers were happy with. I am very happy with them.
eg 8 AAA Eneloop Lite delivered AU$14.98 (price is higher than I bought at)

Also deals for 16 AU$25.62 & 20 AU$28.96 (4 AU$9.47) delivered
Some comments about seller from others http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/73774
Probably will arrive before Shopping Square ones as SS have 5-8 day Handling time + direct import from Asia.
DS has best price for AA Eneloop & no waiting for delivery.
You didn't mention the biggest reason to use Eneloop batteries in remote controls.
When Eneloops go flat, NOTHING HAPPENS! Compare this to a non-rechargeable battery - when it goes flat, the result is frequently a leaking battery and a damaged remote. Lots of devices (DVD players, set-top boxes etc) are all but useless without the remote, so using Eneloops is cheap insurance.
Other brands of LSD NiMh battery are fine, too.
True, but remotes tend to be used daily, so dead batteries are quickly removed. It is on the infrequent/ seasonal applications that leakage is likely to be a real problem. In those, any type of rechargable battery can save large replacement costs. Long storage life batteries like these are better in remotes as there is little self-discharge.
But was really pointing our the value of the lesser known Eneloop Lite - even better suited for use in remotes (longer life cycle, lighter, cheaper, & the higher capacity of full Eneloops is wasted in low drain application).
I didn't know batteries menstruate :P
ordered 6 packs from them.
any thing wrong with shopping square?
might take a while getting to you, but otherwise not really anything 'wrong' with them.
my last order took a few weeks (shock horror).
at least it wasnt like zavvi, my 1 and only with them took months.
Everything wrong with them, I never received my items, its been 2 months now. Cause was logged with Fair Trade NSW and now they have referred me to CTTT as seller continuously giving false ETA for refund.
The pack of 4 that I ordered took 2 weeks.
Age : Dates on the batteries are from June 2011.
From Dick Smith , the batteries are April 2012.
Perhaps of no great significance, but generally the fresher, the better.
Thanks! these will go nice with my $26.40 JBL ipod dock ;)
Got mine today.. and they sent me normal white ones.. >_< !!!
Hi there,
I received my order today 2/11/12 Upon opening the package you have sent me regular Sanyo Eneloop batteries.. and not the glitter ones you have on the photo of the product..
Please explain why I have received these and not the glitter ones?
I wait your reply,
Thank you.
Nathan

Then my last reply..
Well you need to change your product image as it does not match what I received..
I was after the glitter batteries and your listing had the photo of them and it is not the item that I received.
Take a look for yourself as this is very misleading.

I've purchased goods from you guys for many years now, but if you are unable to resolve a simple product error listing I will think twice about making another purchase,
Kind Regards,
Nathan
Dear Nathan,
please kindly refer to the item listing page as we have already included 2 pictures of the item. one of the two pictures are totally identical to the unit you have received:

I replied..
That makes no sense what so ever.. why on earth would you list two images of two different products?
Nathan

They reply..
Dear Nathan,
