    I am buying it for the exact same reason. In my research I found that Dji comes out on top of Gopro both in terms of price and video quality. You might also want to buy the underwater housing for Dji which is an additional $109.

              @tararam: you should use an underwater housing if you're taking it to the ocean. Salt water is your biggest enemy!

  If using Android please note that the DJI app is not available on Google Play and needs to be sideloaded onto the phone, due to non-compliance with Google policies. I did not feel comfortable doing this and returned the camera.

    Holy crap that's massively problematic.

    I was looking at the insta360 and the DJI.

    But no way would I side load an app for a company this big.

    I don't believe this price is achievable now, since the 25% discount on DJI ended on the 7th. With the discount the price would have been $469, down to $440 using the posted 6% off ebay code.
