    If only it were curved.

    • I have a flat 34" and it's great, I wouldn't worry about it.

      I'm glad it's not curved otherwise I would've impulse-bought

I am very happy it is flat. Need more UW flat screen options in the market.

I’m glad it’s flat. I absolutely hate using curved monitors.

  • Good price for 1,152 local dimming zones

  • Is this monitor any good?

      • Extremely average in the context of QD-OLED being near to the price range.

2nd and 3rd gen QD-OLED knocking it out of the park with respect to burn in, too.

        • I agree, waiting for the next QD-OLED panels before I take the plunge

Only thing holding me back is the burn-in. I use spreadsheets for work and I don't want to keep worrying about it.

@MrKD: You do have the option of dark mode in office applications, but last time I looked into that it's a little on the high contrast side. Something that inverts black to a light grey might be more welcome.

Your brightness setting choice would also be fairly low unless you're working in an brightly lit room, and that alongside settings to send the monitor into suspend when idle would significantly reduce the burn in risk. 2nd gen onwards should have much better on-going compensation for burn-in, in a form that doesn't require a long cycle to be run after say 1000+ hours of use.

          • @MrKD: Yeah spreadsheets are a killer, Excel dark mode still sucks for some reason
