  • Thanks for sharing OP, copped one. Coming off the Xmas Board game high, this has scratched an itch.

    • Care to share some other games that you have played and enjoyed?

        camel up, coup, citadel

      • +2

Some party games I've enjoyed in a bigger group (8ppl+)
Monikers, Wavelength, Happy Salmon, 6 Nimmt, chameleon

all quick games with high replay value

        • +1

You'll appreciate One Night Werewolf for larger groups :)

7 Wonders Duel is my personal favourite for two people. A few others I like are: Azul for up to four. Ticket to Ride for up to five. Codenames up to 8 players.

        • Can't play 7 wonders duel with the Mrs, she loses her shit… Takes it personally for some reason

Racoon Tycoon and cockroach poker. Both good games with the kids.

    • Thanks so much for the tips.

Is there a way to view your vouchers in eBay app? I had to login to desktop mode in browser to find them

      • +1

Not that I know of, had to use desktop browser as well.

    • Delivery is 8.95.
      Amazon is $30

      • Good deal of you can click and collect

        • Yes, I got from Amazon instead as local EB has no stock

          • @congo: It's more expensive on Amazon though? Showing $29.99 on Amazon

            • +1

@Craze: Yes a couple dollars more if you need delivery

    • All gone at ebay

  • Cheers, had a read up on it. Looks interesting enough, so ordered.

  • Great game! I prefer it over code names

  • this is a great game, $19 is really cheap, if you enjoy playing board games with a group of ppl, then you should get it

What are the odds someone at the party wants to be contrarian and latches onto "'Crypto*' = SUX!"?

  • +2

They cancelled and refunded my order. The reason was no stock at the store I picked for Click’n’Collect. Not a good experience!

    • +3

Just had the exact same experience. Was even more annoying because I was in the shopping centre yesterday where I'd arranged the C&C, so dropped in to see if it was ready for pickup, or I could even just buy in store. They had a copy of the game sitting behind the counter, but said it wasn't for my order… So I had to leave empty handed, and wait for confirmation my order is ready. Fair enough, and no one was rude about it. However, today see an email saying no stock in store or online, and here's your money back. Pretty crap experience, when they showed stock online when I purchased, and managed to get a physical copy in the same store for another buyer (or employee holding for themselves….). I've never been a big fan of EB, and this experience has done nothing to change that.

      • I wonder if they did that to not honour the deal, or maybe made a mistake with stocks and not willing to admit

Just not worth my time to be honest. Even wasted a $5 ebay coupon on it

        • +1

Yeah either way they're either being dodgy or incompetent. I also wasted my eBay voucher on this deal.
