    I'd recommend paying the $200 more for the 2050 > 4050 upgrade

    • paying the $200 more for the 2050 > 4050 upgrade

Worth it but still the laptop has i5 CPU plus that stupid Windows 11 Home.

What's wrong with the i5? The GTX 2050 is the bottleneck here…

And what's wrong with W11 Home?

I can't tell if you're arguing for or against the Acer Nitro 16

Maybe he's after an ARM CPU with Linux distro for his gaming laptop needs

or Acer Nitro 5 with 4060 $1288 + $6 (if coupon is still active)

    1000$ with this specs…
seems like bargain for acer side

  • But GTX2050 so no ray tracing

    • +3

No such thing as a GTX2050 - all 20 series cards are RTX.

      • +1

Funny how they list it as GTX on the website itself too lol

Wouldn't want to do ray tracing with this GPU anyway 😆

      • Yeh thats what I think, never heard of this GPU, for $1k lots of other 3050 laptops, this def not a deal at all. Then another $200 can get 4050, this laptop only worth like $500-600 max

    • $868 with $70 off ebay plus voucher

    • 8GB RAM and poor build quality with that MSI Bravo

  • Acer really tries hard to push old 2050 stocks in the new chassis I see.

If you think 3050 is having a bad time with modern games then the 2050 will struggle even harder. I'd say this is a $800 config at best.
