Yeah, the Corsair mice I got from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/815153 for $9 even had 6000 DPI. I personally use 3200 (I preferred 2700 but I really didn't want to install the Razer software). 2400 is too little for me.

Logi G203 is a good mouse.
Looks a rebranded generic kmart one can be had for 5-10$.
Better get yourself a proper gaming mouse from logi, G203 for example.
