If only it were 50% off
yep defiantly I managed to fit 150 games installed on my ps5 with the 4tb.
How exactly do you tell if such devices with a heatsink will fit in a laptop. I have a metabox 15in the spot of the nvme is horizontal and raise up about .5cm to be screwed to an offset. I assume that's going to be enough space. The photos don't really give a side profile to judge the thickness.
I'd also be worried about the heating sink on the underside. I know my Dell won't take dual sided memory NVMe modules or those with a top only heatsink.
The max dimensions of the 990 PRO with Heatsink are 80.5 mm [L] x 25.15 mm [W] x 8.88mm [H]
I tried to put a Crucial with heatsink and it was way too big. Looks like the samsungs are smaller, but I'm not sure you need a heatsink to start with (the original drive doesn't have one)
They need to come out with a 4tb M.2 in the 970 evo series, I am not keen on dropping $125 a tb on the pro.
Order from samsung shop app will give you another 10% off. Makes a better deal for $437.4
Doesn't work. They don't stack.
I just ordered the one without the heatsink with the code "30OFF990PRO" on the Samsung Shop app as a first purchase and it came down to a total of $419.40, down from $699 for a savings of $279.60 or 40%, so the codes do stack! Sadly couldn't figure out the email/account that I had an extra $50 newsletter code lying around with (might be my GF's work email), could've been $369.40 otherwise
No even a month ago these were $404 without the heat sink!
this is not a bargain!!!!!!!!!
This is almost the price of a PS5 lol.
At this price, probably better to buy another PS5 and install some games on that!
a pretty good deal to upgrade my PS5
Nope, the Lexar 4TB was half this price 🤷🏼♂️
This is not a deal.
