Oral-B Power Toothbrush 4000 White $71.99 (RRP $239.99) + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Chemist Warehouse

290

Ok so I think these Oral B toothbrushes are kinda like beds and suitcases that are always massively discounted… but anyway, better than half price, apparently!

Also available at Amazon for those who prefer, although shipping is delayed a few weeks.

it literally does 1 thing extra over the cheapo model (discounted always it seems) which lasts many years and does everything else this thing does.

It's time Oral-B started being more responsible and started putting replaceable batteries in these devices. rechargeable lithium type or otherwise.

    • Is that the brush too hard light? For me that’s worth it as I ended up brushing away some enamel… but totally get your point!

Looked at one that had Bluetooth connectivity… the lol!

What is the one thing different? The pressure sensor? My dentist says the pressure sensor is important, the one feature you should go out of your way to pay extra for. She also said they are frequently half price too so shop around.

I guess my dentist must think I'm an idiot. Though her formal training was in dentistry, so maybe she's not qualified to diagnose idiocy.

    • The major improvement my more expensive one has over the cheap ones is regulated power. With the cheap ones, apart from having worse battery life, once the battery starts to drain the power of the motor becomes weaker. Very annoying as the brush becomes less effective as the battery life drains. With regulated power it remains at full motor strength right until the battery runs out

Thanks OP! After going to the dentist recently, I've been looking for a deal on this.

  • I have been looking for one but I really need the travel case. unfortunately this doesn't come with one :(

Wish it came with a travel case at this price.

  • Any recommendations for replacing the brush heads? Do the thrid party ones on Amazon work with the pressure sensor?
