TopBuy - Discounted Macbook Airs, Pros, Retinas - 13" 128GB Air: $1149; 13" 500GB Pro: $1149

40

Not as good as the previous deal for the 11" Macbook.
Was actually partially posted here by etan, but only mentions Macbook Airs.

Prices from my rough calculation are roughly between 10-20% off.

Air 11" i5 1.7GHz 64GB: $949 - RRP: $1099
Air 11" i5 1.7GHZ 128GB: $1049 - RRP: $1249
Air 13" i5 1.8GHz 128GB: $1149 - RRP: $1349
Air 13" i5 1.8GHz 256GB: $1459 - RRP: $1689

Pro 13" i5 2.5GHz 500GB: $1149 - RRP: $1349
Pro 13" i7 2.9GHz 750GB: $1459 - RRP: $1689
Pro 15" i7 2.3GHz [QC] 500GB: $1749 - RRP: $1999

Retina Pro 15" i7 2.3GHz 256GB: $2099 - RRP: $2499
Retina Pro 15" i7 2.6GHz 512GB: $2699 - RRP: $3199

Delivery appears to be a flat $29 for a few of the post codes I tried.

Prices do not include GST, so can't claim GST through TRS.

Warranty is 1 year provided by Apple Internationally.

I would have to say you're one of the best assets on this site.

    • Thanks for the heads-up.

    • Hmm damn well that sucks. Fair enough and thanks. I shall add something to the post.

    • I have bad experience with topbuy, horrible irresponsible and rude customer service when i purchased a camera and it stopped working within 1 week, i sent 3-4 emails and no response which frustrated me so i said i will report to aaac then i got response and ask me to return back for exchange but heck i'm upset and not not happy, don't want exchange i want refund and have big debate fighting with them, i claimed with paypal and also do charge back with my credit card company, the staff threatening me as he said he got my home address and if i got my money back he will makes me regret it…try scare me FAILED

    • There's a lot more in this post but effectively, yes.

Yea I acknowledged that. Read second line in OP.

      • Deleted. (I missed the single word link)

  • Does any know if its possible to open up a Macbook air and swap the hdd?

  • Since 1) there's no GST, 2) "Fast International Shipping" text is displayed, I have to assume the items are shipped from overseas. Custom will charge 10% GST when item plus postage is over $1000. It does not save you much money then. Maybe wait for Dick Smiths or JB HiFi give 10% off is a better idea.
