      Free 3 hour delivery is.

Although it would be better if I could do something stupid like order a $2 cable. But then, Apple don't sell $2 cables, cheapest seems to be $15.

Most things you can probably get from Officeworks for less with free delivery in 2 hours.

Why don't they do something real, like doing this service for rural areas, instead of just nourishing the city-folk. Many people outside cities

    • Because it's a business

      • That make tons of money and pay bugger-all tax in this country. They should do something for the farmers at least. Give something back

Maybe the fist shaking should be at Coles and Woolworths. I am intrigued though, at how a MacBook would get from a capital city to Albury in 3 hours.

@D3m3nti4: Dunno. Maybe have a mobile unit like a library bus, going from town to town for a few days at a time per location. Promote what they have for surrounding towns to come and look at. People out west don't get to see these things in person. I'm sure quite a few cow cockies would be interested updating/upgrading their systems. They ride it off under tax, use their internet properly. I'm a butcher by trade and know a LOT of people are using old old tech for their farms. Cattle, dairy, sheep, all live-stock really. And plantations too!

          • @D3m3nti4: I do agree that coles and woolies should be avoided. In hard times, inflation, recession, job lay-offs and the rest… The words inflation and 'record breaking quarter' do not belong in the same sentence.
On the tv, you see ads picturing MASSIVE spreads of food on a long farm table… Show me how many families will be doing that, or can even afford that this year! It's a f**ken outrage! Now the woolies workers got their over-due pay rise, woolies won't take that out of their profits neither. They'll put the price up even more on everything and we'll pay for it

The fake rage TikTok / X / OldiesBook is to be expected. It's a non-essential service. Buy or don't buy. Adopt your own farmer.
