Shitty website wanted permission to spam me before letting me even look at it. I took umbrage, and went from annoyed to very amused:

"The email address [email protected] is already subscribed to the Groupon Australia newsletter for Melbourne."

Looks like I'm not the first. :)

    • There's usually a hard to spot close button or X concealed somewhere, could be wrong though.

    • I always use [email protected]… was it from Winzip nagscreens all those years ago? Can't remember.

You just click "I'm already a member". There's no verification.

      • Already Registered?* Sorry.

Too many unknowns here, I would wait for another deal from Memory City, SanDisk 32GB Ultra Micro SD Class 10s were $27.95 last time - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/80727

  • Heres a tip guys
    never buy electronics from Groupon
They need a 35% margin from their sellers, guess whos going to be wearing that cost?

No Brand, no deal. I wouldn't take one of these on a holiday and trust my photos in it. Last time I trusted a no brand it cost me dearly.

  • Here's the last one groupon did that got posted here (or maybe the 2nd to last)

Different supplier this time but might still be an indication of how things will go, who knows…

we got 2 of this previous deal and after waiting probably 10 weeks they finaly arrived and were fake. They were not fake brand, but fake 32gb. they said 32gb but when you tried to load more than 8gb they shat themselves. After several emails we got a refund from the company, but they only sent the money for one not two. something i still need tofollow up again.

Ordered 1 from the previous Groupon deal. Took 3 months to arrive, real 32gb fake but class 10 transfer speed. Will stay away from this deal for sure.

you are nuts for buying from a no-name company via a group buy site

  • I have bought one of these MicroSD card. Honestly, in the beginning, I thought probably I would never get it. But last Fri I went to local post office to pick it up. It was class 6, no brand name on. When I tested on my PC, it was 29GB, the standard for a 32GB MicroSD card, transfer rate was suprisingly 7 MB/S. So not bad.

My suggestion is if you don't have great expectation you could try.

  • thanks for your comments, i decided to hold off buying one lol. i bought a 16gb microsd sandisk ultra for around $13 from that deal last time, that will last me until 32gbs become dirt cheap. its going into my 32gb S3 anyways

    No brand No deal.

Looking back through Ozbargain, Pay the extra and get piece of mind SanDisk cards from this deal.

Looking at the picture it only shows class 10 for SDHC and slower class 6 for MicroSD.
