Nice saving on RRP, but this is just about the worst way to experience these retro games…

  • +7

At that price, go buy the RG36S and play all the retro games you want.

    • +1

      where can you buy a RG36S ?

      • +3

        R36S from AliExpress

  • +1

They’re not great… as mentioned a cheaply handheld or something you can plug into your tv is better

  • +1

Is not even Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition 👎

  • +4

These machines are crap. I have the 30-1 with awesome arcade games and the controls and screen are just too small

    • Can you share a link to your machine?

      • Yeah it was the MyArcade Namco edition but it has 20-1 not 30-1, my bad

  • +10

is this an arcade console for ants???

    • +1

Would be too big for ants, more like rodents

    • minions for sure

  • +2

it's fun and all…..but realisitically how much longevity would it have? you play it for 10-15 minutes then it'll sit on your shelf collecting dust.

    • +1

Probably a toy for kids and a collection piece for adults.

      • +3

        collection piece

        =

sit on your shelf collecting dust

      • +1

and a collection piece for adults.

A collection of "looked cool at first when I got it but I didn't feel like using it after two short sessions" items.

All I want for xmas is the new Atari Micro Player. Missile Command and Asteroids never get old.

Just don't buy the latest Space Invaders. It only has a regular LCD screen like the rest. Try to get the last year's model with the bigger cabinet and actual moonscape for the cool parallax effect.

But the NeoGeo is my favorite. 40 SNK games for the same price as two MyArcades. The gamepad is an extra $49.

Hmm interesting but that screen is far too small for my older eyes. Maybe ok for kids.

    • +1

It will look better through old eyes I reckon, young eyes will notice the crappy resolution and graphics.

Can't find these listed at JB Hi-Fi

    • How weird. They were both there when i posted and now they are both gone.

      • You're right, I saw it too.

        • They probably saw the Aldi sale and didn't want to price match.

Street Fighter 2 various versions is less than $3 as DLC for Capcom stadium on switch and half price right now on Xbox.
