It is targeted mate. Had received the same email in November. And for anyone thinking of applying I would suggest not to as their application system and process is absolute crap. If you are not worried about the high chances of a rejection go ahead.

Totally agreed! And Self-employed is not eligible.

  • I signed up last time for no reason and just closed the card a day later because not eligible.

Spent almost an hour on the phone and finally got them to increase the transfer limit.

    nah, ridiculously terrible service.

  • Experience with previous posted deal; easy and fast application and once spending requirement met received an email advising of up to sixty days before cashback applied.

Actual turnaround time was 35 days for cashback.

Have to agree with the other comments, I would avoid this if you have any actual savings and have good spending habits and pay off your credit cards on time.
They send me this offer every 6 months or so, and everyone I apply I get an instant ‘declined’ and I have not met the criteria (savings or income) yet I easily do.
Every time I question it, I get the same response ‘we can’t share why we declined it’
Just a waste of time with ING clearly looking for people they could score fees from.

      Banks are banks!
CBA keeps doing the same to me, floods me with step pay offers,
declines me because my credit rating is too high and comes back with 17% interest offer.

  • they declined my application but I have a Full time job and hardly any expenses, no dependants , plus own a 40K car outright!!!! helllloooooooooooooooooooo
I went back to NAB and approved in 2 seconds!!!
